My partner and I invited Ionas Property Developers to quote on a fairly extensive renovation and redecoration project on our home in August, 2016. Our budget was limited, as was our time schedule, but above all, we were looking for a candidate with whom we could have a collaborative working relationship, this being a project we had a huge personal investment in. We were impressed and struck with Greg’s professional and punctual presentation on our first meeting. Unlike a number of other contractors interviewed, what set Greg apart was his ability to listen and take on board our brief, which was highly design - driven. He was also open to discussing our budget limitations and from the outset inspired complete trust that he would be able to balance our expectations and our budget without compromising on the quality and finish we required. Based on this strong first impression, we hired him. Working around hugely disruptive delays from some other suppliers, Greg and his team delivered the work to a standard that far exceeded our expectations and managed to complete within a tight schedule, with only minor and justifiable adjustments to the initial budget. We were 100% thrilled with the results. I can without a shadow of doubt recommend Ionas. Behind the true craftsman with an obsessive eye for detail and finish, there is also a thoughtful, insightful and considerate family man. This will make him our first and only choice for any future projects. A true find.

Project 2 - Erection of a fully insulated garden office 5 meter x 5 meter including installation of a shower room, wooden flooring, installation of skylights and all electrics and drainage. Workmanship and professionalism was excellent.

Agreed a date and time 16th July, he text to say he could not make, so agreed the 23rd July at 9am. My husband and I got up at 7 to get everything ready for him. Never showed, called and texts and never even responded very disappointed!!! and very unprofessional. Would not recommend

Would highly recommend Ioan. From start to finish, everything was done in a very professional way. Ioan was very knowledgable on how many coats needed for each wall and customised it according to the existing wall condition. I'm not quite sure how my experience was so different to the other reviewers. Richards work was honestly pretty sloppy. When painting the wall next to doors he didn't use tape and has got grey paint all the way down our white doors. He couldn't be bothered to prep the surfaces even to a basic level, he left small holes unfilled and our paint job is covered in lumps and splatters which I've had to paintstakingly go round after to sand back and repaint. Richard is a lovely guy but I honestly think his eyesight must be failing because he couldn't see these issues without me pointing them out. I cancelled the job halfway through and painted the rest of it myself and although I'm not a professional painter decorator did a much better finish myself.
