Where do I start!! Marks been nothing but amazing! So lovely to have in the house which is extremely important when you are trusting a stranger to be around you and inside your home! Really friendly and helpful. My bathroom looks AMAZING!! I explained what I wanted and Mark just knew exactly what I wanted, better than I did to be honest, and the outcome has exceeded my expectations. I can’t stop staring at my bathroom, such a brilliant job, so beautiful Mark was punctual, knowledgeable and again an absolute pleasure to have in my house!

Although I did have to wait for Ben to find a gap in his work load it wasn't that much of a problem as I had been waiting for nearly five months in any case due to being let down by people who clearly thought my job too small to warrant their attention. Ben was polite, methodical and a very neat worker. Thank you Ben!

They came with lots of words about what they can do but did not live up to their words. They arrived late on the job every day and as a result had to rush the job. They did not finish on the time they had allocated to the job. The standard of work, for example on the skirting boards, was very poor. They were not interested in carrying out snagging checks after the work as done. I would not recommended them to anyone.

The Job was to prepare and paint the front and rear of my property. This included a lot of preparation work as the building is a listed property with old Sash style windows. I approached several companies and also asked around locally as I was relatively new to the area and choose D&J as they were recommended repeatedly by several people. I arranged for D&J to come round and give a quotation for the work and also to ask for advice on how to best to approach the job as the previous occupants of the house had allowed the windows to deteriorate considerable. From the moment they arrived until completion of the job they were thoroughly professional, nothing appeared too much trouble and despite several previous contractors quoting silly figures D&J provided a sensible quotation and a truly superb job that was completed on time and exactly as promised. They even arranged to come back a couple of weeks later to repaint one window again free of charge as they didn’t feel happy with the original finish even though I personally could see nothing wrong with it. Extremely happy and would recommend to anyone without hesitation…

We employed Dave to carrying out a complete redecoration of our 4-bed semi. The spec was to repaint, walls, ceiling and woodwork and wallpaper a number of feature walls, also to make a few small repairs to skirting boards. The work that actually carried out far surpassed this with Dave taking on lots of extra odd-jobs whilst he was here in order to help us achieve a good finish. This included taking up carpets, sanding down our staircase, making and fitting a cupboard door, and fitting PVC window sils. Many of these were at Dave's suggestion and with no extra cost to us. Whilst carrying this out, there was never a problem in them taking down/putting up curtain poles and shelving in order to carry out the work. In fact, nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the team. Even when we decided to change the colour of the hallway half way through the job, they were extremely happy to accomodate us and helped us to choose a new colour. On the odd occasion I was not happy with the finish, Dave was approachable and was soon able to put the matter right. They worked tidyly and conscientiously of our one year old, always took any mess they generated to be disposed of. They were always on time and willing to work weekends to get the job finished. Dave is a genuine, friendly person who enjoys what he does which made the upheaveal of having work done in our home much more of a pleasure than expected. We will certainly be happy to have him and his team back in the future.
