He was very polite, punctual and trustworthy I had no problem leaving him in my house alone while I walked the dog or popped to the shops etc. His work was very good and professional. He worked very clean and tidy and respectfully. I am very happy and pleased with the tiling job he did for me and I would definitely recommend The Right Man and will 100% be using him again.

Hi my name is Luke I am fairly new to mybuilder still but I am definately not new to my trade! Multi tradesman with many skills in the building trade but i mainly focus on wooden and laminate flooring, decorating, bathroom fitting and handyman jobs as this is what i enjoy to do. Patio and driveway cleaning, decking refurbishment. 12+ years of experience in painting and decorating and has mainly been high end private jobs by word of mouth and not slap up site or contract work. 6-7 years experience fitting bathrooms, I have worked closely and still do with a qualified plumber and bathroom specialist with 14+ years experience I have a bit of OCD so I am very particular and a perfectionist with my work. I will try to give you the best price possible but I will not be the cheapest on here as I do things properly and doing things properly does take longer! With this type of work, I have found over the years of working with many other tradesmen, you get what you pay for! That being said, I am very reasonable considering my level of work!

Luke was really easy to arrange work with and helped take out a cupboard and make good a few extra walls on top of the job adrvertised. He took a lot of time to make a lot of old walls look great again and to make sure the job was completed to his standard. He also returned quickly to do some final touchups.

We hired this company to paint the exterior of our house for an agreed sum of £2000. After a couple of start date changes, they arrived on 30/05/2021 to start the work. We heard nothing from them on the next day or the day after. Meanwhile we noticed that they had demolished a very expensive 30 year old decorative jasmine hedge surrounding a large bay window at the front of the property. Upon complaining they completely denied that they caused it and that we were overreacting about a silly bush. Our gardeners did some emergency repair next day but will need replanting and supporting. At the same time we pointed out some bubbling of the paintwork. At this point we were told that in that case we should buy new doors; he actually said to my husband that he is 75 and can’t make him look 20!! Following this there was a complete breakdown of communication and they didn’t return to finish the job or clean up. We have been sent an invoice for £800 for one day’s work. We offered £500 and that we will pay the gardeners to replant and repair the hedge and they can keep all the leftover materials. Following this we received two very confrontational and accusatory emails although they did accept our offer. Due to this attitude we are holding back the payment although we have every intention to settle in order to avoid any more aggravation. At no point did they accept responsibility or apologise for the damage because that is all we wanted. Their behaviour was totally unprofessional.

As soon as I met Richard I knew that he was the man for the job. Punctual, and with a proper assessment of the area he knocked the competition out of the park. Richard carried out a two day job for us, damp proofing and re plastering our porch area. Everything was done as described. The job was quickly and beautifully executed leaving the area superbly tidy and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard, 5 star all the way. We are now moving house and he would be my go to for future work of this nature.

Great comms, always called / called back, arrived at the property on time, time and date agreed in advance, done the panelling work at the highest of quality and as agreed prior to the start of the work at quote stage. Chris charged reasonably and post providing an initial quote, went to the property to view the job and confirmed works / cost of work before agreeing a date to do it. Would recommend, and was always available when we had further questions etc.
