I am a painter and decorator by trade and have been in business over 35 years. In my early days I worked for my stepfather who was a builder and although I did my training in Painting and Decorating I also went with other trades for 2 years each to learn plumbing, roofing, Carpentry, wall and floor tiling etc. I mainly do painting now unless a customer requests it. I really enjoy working, particularly in the private sector as you can carry out different jobs and meerkat a variety of people.
