Ben provided a good quote to do the job but even though he was initially supposed to start on the 12th of November, he cancelled 5 times!! He was literally promising to turn up and then sending a message to cancel the day before, sometimes on the actual day. He used various reasons (the rainy weather, his dad taking ill, the cold / frost, etc) even though I had other workers doing jobs at the same time at our property, and if they could turn up I'm not sure why he couldn't. What was very clear was a distinct lack of work ethic and an unreliable attitude to doing the job from the start. Whilst I empathise with his dad's situation, I would certainly not recommend him and would encourage others not to rely on him.
