I hired Raphael/RJ Builders through MyBuilder for bathroom and floor tiling work. During the works, Raphael broke my Geberit Sigma21 flush plate. I paid him as agreed and at no point refused payment, so any suggestion otherwise is false. I have payment screenshots to evidence this. The replacement flush plate was not unavailable as suggested — it was simply more expensive, which is why Raphael agreed in writing that if I transferred the refunded amount to him, he would source the exact same replacement, cover the additional cost himself, and install it. I transferred the money as agreed, but no replacement has ever been supplied. Raphael later gave a return date to complete the remaining works, including the front door threshold area and refitting the kitchen plinths/kickboards, but failed to attend and then ignored repeated messages despite reading them. The plinths are still sat in my living room and I have been left with incomplete work and no resolution.
