Latest review:Alpha construction did a 2 storey side and roof extension, loft conversion, complete renovation, drive and patio for us. In short they took a dated 3 bedroom house and converted it into a modern 5 bedroom house. We invited over 10 builders to bid and Alpha supplied the most detailed quote and were the only one to meet each deadline. They were also always quick to answer questions. That level of customer service and professionalism was reflected in all latter dealings with them. They started on time, they finished on time. They updated us on a regular basis and found innovative solutions to unexpected issues e.g. inaccurate architectural drawings. They kept to budget and were transparent with costs. My husband particularly appreciated that they recommended value options or found lower cost solutions to our ideas. We also got access to a wealth of subcontractors. Ross put together a high quality team from the expected plumbers, electricians etc. To the unexpected such as window vendors / kitchen suppliers. All of which gave great value and high quality services compared to alternatives we found ourselves. Everyone at the house was polite and conscientious, in fact neighbours have been asking for quotes since. Since moving in we've had a lot of people comment on the great finish of the work they did. The house looks lovely and I would be happy to show others thinking of using them. I have recommended them to my friends and that's about the best compliment I can give.

Latest review:New Builds-JKL have built us a beautiful large garden cabin. They have been so dedicated and worked so hard through the craziest weather (wind, sleet, snow, hail, Storm Dudley, Storm Eunice and now Saharan dust!) to give us a wonderful building of the highest quality craftsmanship. Everyone has been really focused on the quality of the build -from the foreman and carpenter (who have been there every day), to the ground workers, bricklayers, scaffolders, electricians and roofers. They have all played their part in realising the design intent. Matt Williams, the owner and Company Director has also been super efficient, responsive and easy to deal with. He has been instrumental in keeping the project on time and in budget. Only a few more weeks before everything is complete and we can use the space. We can’t wait and are so grateful to JKL for all their efforts. We would whole heartedly recommend JKL.

Latest review:Restoration & Refurbishment-To date the best builder I have come across, and I have had many a project.. Paul’s company does what it says on the tin, ‘ build on time’ , they start work at 8 finish at 6. My kitchen build was done in 10-12 working days , that’s removing a load bearing wall, re-plastering , all plumbing work, flooring , fitting the kitchen , lighting and painting. Cannot recommend Paul and his team more. If you want pictures more than happy to share. Will definitely be using BUILD ON TIME again.
