As this was work carried out for the Council quotes did have to be provided first but Simon got in touch about the job, was excellent at communicating and came when he said he would with his team and repaired the wall better than ever. Thank you Simon, highly recommended.

I’m a bricklayer with almost 10 years experience and I take a lot of pride in my work. After working for people for the majority of this time I have finally decided to take the leap and go solo. I am competent with brick, block and stonework and can also dig and pour concrete footings for any of the work I carry out. I have a very strong work ethic and always reliable, I also work long hours when needed whether it be to benefit the customer or myself.
- Get in touchAfter a verbal recommendation from a friend (who used to be a builder), Wayne built a two storey extension on the back of my small terraced house; this included turning a kitchen into a kitchen-diner downstairs and re-modelling the upstairs to include a larger landing, an extended master bedroom and new stairs to the converted loft. I could not be happier with his work from the quote right through to the completion of the works. The work was completed to a very high quality; this has been remarked upon by friends who know what they are talking about, not just me! The work was on time and to budget; there were some extra costs but all of these were discussed fully beforehand and the vast majority were initiated by me. Wayne has many strengths. He is completely trustworthy (as are his team of specialist tradesman). He is always calm and he communicates with you all the time to let you know how things are going. He finds ways of getting round small problems that are inventive and don't end up costing you more money, always consulting you at every step. If you have any questions, concerns or you want to make small changes, he is very approachable and honest. The aftercare that he provides is also very good and whilst completing the work he and his team were really good with the neighbours. I am delighted with my new home and will be asking Wayne to do more work for me in the future. I recommend him to anyone without reservation.Latest review:

Rating: 5 out of 5 5514 reviewsI am very well known in my area by a whole host of people connected with the building trade -Builders' Supplies, Architects, Building Control Officers etc. I am very proud of the fact that all who know me, without exception, know me to be extremely honest and trust me implicitly, and it is for this reason that providing references from people I have worked for and people I have had business dealings with, is not a problem and speak for themselves. As far as my work is concerned, both myself and my foreman, whom I have worked with since I was 16 years old, pride ourselves to our attention to detail in everything we do. In over 30 years of working in the building trade, I am very proud of the fact that no-one has ever criticised our work.
