ELB Construction completed some major garden works for me and constructed a garden office. It was a big piece of work with a lot of earth moving, significant foundations and a lot of brickwork. The ELB team, specifically Jimmy the site manager, were fantastic, always giving me the right advice about things I was not knowledgeable about, always focussed on a quality finish and flexible when we had some challenges with our neighbours. The finish is great, communication was always open and honest and they were very competitively priced. My brother in law is in corporate construction and was specifically very impressed with the quality of the brickwork that Jimmy and the team produced. Thank you to the whole team!

We have had quite a bit of work on our property in the last few years and the final project was to be our bathroom with the focus around a beautiful copper bath which has been sitting in the spare room waiting to be installed for nearly a year. We needed a company that could deliver a very high standard of work at a competitive price. Top building were not only very fair and competitive but wonderfully detailed in their approach both in quoting and their workmanship which is second to none. Vladimir and team understood the project from day one – made a few trips before hand which built the relationship and made myself and my husband very comfortable with our decision to instruct Top Building. What I enjoyed most is that Vladimir made great suggestions and offered money saving advice. Nothing was too much trouble and I really felt the team got behind the project. The knowledge and expertise is of an exceptional level. We had a few odd jobs that needed to be done which the team (Evo and Dimitri) welcomed and efficiently completed. I very much appreciate the patience and flexibility shown by the team and Vladimir’s brilliant way of keeping us informed every step of the way. Bathroom was totally refurbished including new Walls, plastering, electrics, tiling and new boiler. It really has been a pleasure working with the team – I will most certainly be recommending them.

Abdul cane to estimate the job. He started working the next day. He changed a completed bathroom. New toilet, new basin and new shower and base. Also fitted a hot water boiler for the basin. He completed the job and I was happy to pay him for his speedy work.

Thanks to Thomas, we decided not to do a loft conversion now and do a more upscale conversion once we have the budget. We first planned to do a small-scale conversion, but after consulting with Thomas, he suggested several plans, including upscale ones and recommended us doing an upscale one rather than the small-scale one. His recommendation makes sense, and we decided to follow his suggestion. I had a great discussion with him. He is very open, honest and trustworthy.

I engaged Edi to work on a full renovation and refurbishment of a 4 bedroom detached house with front and back gardens on Blackheath’s Cator Estate. Edi did an extensive amount of work, including stripping out; plumbing; plastering; windows installation; carpentry; and decoration. In addition, after commencing the property work, once the scaffold had been erected, following sensible advice, Edi and his team replaced the roof and fully insulated the attic; fitted additional electric points; rebuilt the garden patio; and replaced the flooring throughout, in addition to other important jobs including re rendering and pointing of chimneys, building new wardrobes in the main bedrooms; and upgrading the radiators. A new kitchen, and two new bathrooms have been fitted. The kitchen redesign meant knocking through a wall with the lounge to create a larger space. Edi is a highly skilled craftsman, who thinks creatively as he works to make best use of the space, including shelf fittings, and additional lighting for example. He has built some beautiful wardrobes, and the internal decorations have brightened up what was previously a rather shabby looking house. In addition to the above, I wish to commend Edi for his professionalism, courtesy, and passion for doing the best work possible. On all the site visits I attended, and every time I spoke with him on the phone, it was striking how much he cared about the work that he was doing, his desire to ensure that the house would look the best. I always left site visits with the feeling that he cared so much about the house that he could be safely relied on to give the best advice to enable us to make the right decisions. I also noticed that Edi and his team would take the upmost care to keep the property safe, tidy and in good shape throughout the project. He can be fully trusted to look after any site he works on. He is intelligent and careful when it comes to safety and security. It has been a pleasure for Edi and his team to work with us over a period of around 6 months, and he did so much to reduce the stress of a significant project so that we could always rely on him to work methodically, patiently and sensibly, and to make best use of the resources available. His pleasantness shines through, and everyone I know who has spoken to him has always provided me with the most positive feedback I have no hesitation in recommending Edi to anyone who wishes to engage him for future projects, and is most deserving of the good words that I and others that work with him have to say about him.
