  I would strongly advise others to think carefully before hiring this gardener. The patio he installed has been left in an unacceptable condition, with numerous slabs unevenly laid, some sticking up significantly higher than others and creating obvious trip hazards. There are also areas where slabs have sunk, gaps and inconsistencies throughout the paving, and the overall finish is far below what I would expect from a professional tradesperson. I have photographs showing the defects. When I raised my concerns, I was assured on 13 May 2026 that he would return to rectify the issues when he was next in the area. Despite this promise, I have received no further contact and the work remains unresolved. What was equally disappointing was the lack of professionalism throughout. I was uncomfortable with some of the comments made during the job, which I felt were completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

  Mark was quick to come and view the task of repairing the porch. He gave good advice, a fair quote and waited patiently for the insurance company to agree the quote and authorise the repair. Once agreed, Mark quickly returned and completed the repair efficiently and without fuss.
