John was a star. There were a few hiccups - missing instructions and so on - but he handled them with aplomb. He suggested fixes to problems, worked incredibly hard, was always cheerful and chipper, and built a beautiful kitchen. I am very impressed and have no hesitation whatsoever recommending John.

We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

The early part of my years being in both first and second fit carpentry and in the later years transitioned into bespoke furniture making, please take a look at the gallery to see some of the projects I have completed. This was always a passion of mine and was making furniture many years before it became my primary professional focus. I have worked in the construction industry coming up to 15 years, a large portion of that was with a building company that worked on small projects such as kitchen/bathroom installation to large projects such as loft conversions and wrap round extensions. This has allowed me to gain a lot of experience in many different building professions and work on a wide range of different property types. This passion became a business in 2019 during the COVID Pandemic when I was unable to work and needed something to occupy my mind and keep me busy. Later in 2019 I was able to return to work but continued to accept small projects and grow the business in my spare time. In April of 2022, I decided to leave my job and work full time on CliveCrafts. I have not looked back since! A big part of my company ethos is customer service, and I strive to make any job I attend be a pleasant experience for all customers. This is done first with my demeanour, being polite and conducting myself in a professional manner. Secondly, when working onsite, being sure that I am organised and leaving my working area clean and tidy upon completion of the job. Jim removed my old kitchen and flooring, fitted my new Wren kitchen, and laid an LVT floor, and the results are excellent. Communication was great from start to finish, with all costs clearly quoted and any additional work discussed. The project took slightly longer than planned due to unforeseen circumstances, but this was fully explained and handled professionally, and Jim worked extremely hard to complete the job within a very reasonable timeframe. The quality of workmanship is fantastic. Plumbing was updated neatly, including additions for a washing machine and boiler water tap, and the handmade mosaic tiles were fitted beautifully. I lived in the house during the work and everything was kept clean and tidy aside from normal building dust. Polite, professional, reliable, and great value for money. I’m absolutely delighted with my new kitchen and would highly recommend Jim.

We had the pleasure to hire Lubo and his team to work on our kitchen. Skilled professional tradesmen within his team: from the carpenter, electrician, etc… everyone was ponctual , sociable and hard working. Great team to have for this job in our home. The task wasn't easy has we have asked to recycle some existing feature in the kitchen we had. Ludo's team has work very hard in following every requirement we needed. Every evening, Lubo will pop in the flat and check if the job was ok to move to the next one. Pre-work, lubo also has given his time to answer to all our questions. We had great advices to help us to choose what could feet in our new kitchen. We are very pleased with the result and we will hire back this company to do more work in our home.
