I am writing this review with a very heavy heart. I was left with many unfinished bits and poor-quality work. We agreed to have the kitchen fitted and Alex decided to come over the weekend with one more person as a two-man job. Also, we agreed if the work is not finished over the weekend then he will come next weekend to finish the job. However, he came on his own as a single person, the job has been rushed through and tried to be completed in two days. Alex never came back next weekend to finish the bits left to complete. Following are the bad points which left us devastated with our newly fitted kictchen. 1- Gas line was left hidden behind the cooker cabinet, for Gas engineer there was no way to find the gas pipe, until we had to remove the cabinet. 2- The L-Shaped corner was not fitted/closed properly now things keep falling at the back of the cabinet. 3- The worktop did not join properly, now it is water-damaged and swollen at the joints. 4- Cabinet door handles fitted upside down. These are not correctable without replacing the whole door. 5- The sink is not sealed properly water is ingressing through the sides and collecting at the bottom. After a few days of usage, we found water leaking through the sink joints into the cabinet. 6- While drilling holes for cabinet handles, drilled through one of the cabinets and ruined the entire cabinet, and not offered replacement. Filled the holes with wax in the new cabinet, wax came out after a few days of usage. 7- The backyard was left with all wood chipping and dirt as he worked late at night, we found out the next morning backyard was not cleaned and was left with all the rubbish and wood. 8- Extractor left unplugged and unfitted. We informed Alex about these issues promptly, but unable to get these sorted and I have hired other people to sort these issues. Overall it was a rushed job done, I am devastated that after spending a fortune and being paid promptly, I have left with an unfinished and poorly fitted kitchen.
