Dan completed the job within the 5 - 6 expected days, despite a couple of unexpected hiccouphs, that were not caused by him. He is a very clean, tidy worker and is concerned to do a very good job. He was quick to provide a quote at a very reasonable price and was also happy to add in a couple of extra small jobs that cropped up at the time. We are very pleased with the overall finish and result and would hire him again in the future.

On behalf of my dad I would like to say a big thank you to Carl. After trying to find someone (with no luck) in the Mablethorpe area to fit a ceramic sink in the kitchen, MyBuilder was a last resort. Ty did a good job. He was very professional and both discussed issues with us as well as explaining points of detail that we may have noticed some time in the future. He tied-up after the work and was no trouble to have around the house for a few days. We also had some cracks in a ceiling that we were planning to fix. It was clear Ty really understood how to make a good repair and was able to do that while he was with us. His repair is excellent. He will now also be helping us fix some creaking floor boards.

Incompetent and vacuous. Didn’t read the plans or sizes at the start, which meant many crappy adjustments were made throughout, ie sink on the wrong side, oven protruding out etc. Anything that seemed hard was an ‘extra’ cost. Damaged most items that were installed and then refused to change them as it was too much effort. Quality of workmanship was very low, and finishes were terrible, when requested to amend he flatly refused. He seemed very inexperienced and possibly had never fitted a kitchen or bathroom before. Once he had received 90% of the contract money he started refusing to do things and not turning up, eventually leaving the job unfinished. He totally ignored requests to finish the job and kept our keys!! He is supposed to be a qualified gas engineer - however managed to break our boiler and then refused to fix it as he didn’t know how. I mean it’s just lunacy! We have since had another quote to complete the work and fix all the damage he caused which is the same price as what we have already paid. The new builder noted the work used primitive methods and was substandard. I would not recommend Nikolay at all. Total nightmare to deal with and unbearably unprofessional. I can only assume the other positive reviews on here are from his friends!!

Steve did a great job converting a bedroom into a kitchen, including all plumbing, electrical works, ceiling & floor insulation, underfloor heating... Steve brought in other tradesmen for more specialist jobs, who did a good job too. Steve was dedicated to the project and even turned up on weekends to make progress with the conversion. The place was always left clean and tidy at the end of the day. Not knowing much about building works, I felt totally comfortable with the job being in Steve's hands, and I already talked to Steve about another job I'd like to have done soon!

William did an excellent job It was quite a challenging task and several other joiners said it was too difficult to undertake. It is a 20 year old, bespoke two storey hardwood bay with laminated glass. The main vertical columns and the cills had rotted so the task was to replace the rotten sections with new. If this wasn't challenging enough, there was the matter of the glazing which I was expecting would blow. William and his colleague Chris turned up on a day when the rain didn't stop so it was far from ideal working environment. They very carefully removed the glass, replaced the sections and the glass and stained it to match existing. I think this needed both skill and care and am delighted with the result. I would highly recommend them both.

Anthony hung a bedroom door for me. He had to chisel all the holes for the handle to go through, also the door hinges had to be all repositioned and the door had to be slightly cut down to size.
