Very disappointing. Job did start well but unfortunately Alex underestimated the time it would take to fit my kitchen and just before the job was due to be finished, he informed me that he had quoted me incorrectly at the start of the job and wanted to charge more. He also started to bring up “extras” where there had been no “extras”. He also damaged my path in the front garden and dented my new oven. Instead of being apologetic and wanting to resolve these issues, he wanted to add extra costs to my invoice, obviously to try and recoup the money he would lose paying for the repairs. There was an attempt to discuss these issues but unsuccessfully as he tried to guilt trip me into paying more. He claimed that he had not included the cost of tiling my kitchen but in the original quote it clearly says that it was only the cost of the tiles themselves that were not included. He also wanted to charge me extra to wallpaper one wall when decorating was clearing included in the price. I have returned from work to find he has walked off my job. I have been left with an unfinished kitchen and lots of issues that I need to now hire someone else to fix. Not to mention the cost of the repair to my path and my brand new oven. 3 weeks and job not still not complete. Unprofessional, unreasonable and very disappointing. A bad and unfair way to treat a very patient and reasonable customer. Alex was clearly out of his depth with this project. Hire with caution.

Tomas was very attentive and listened to what we needed. What we wanted was bespoke and he made up some cupboards to fit our kitchen. This was not straightforward and he made a good job of the carpentry aspects and also fitted some appliances for us. He painted the ceiling and sanded and stained the wooden beams. He was careful and put good protection down before he started work and at every stage of the kitchen update. We would ask him to quote for further work in our house if we had the need.

Tony representing Henson Improvements worked on this tricky job with great care and efficiency. During the course of the 5 days on site he would provide me with regular updates whilst I was at work. He listened to any questions we had and shared some valuable advice regarding options we had at hand allowing us to make the best decision for us. The kitchen looks as per our specification now and where it was not possible, Tony explained the reason why it was the case and possible alternates. We ended up giving Tony more work which included wallpaper fitting, hanging cabinets etc. all of which were done professionally. I will recommend Tony to anyone/ anytime and will surely be in touch with him if I need help with any future work.

From the get go, Raj and his team were a pleasure to deal with and have working in our home. The quoting and design stage was clear and efficient, and he recommended some great features for our kitchen build. They recommended we get our kitchen from Howdens and we are very impressed with the quality. We had the entire kitchen - floor to ceiling worked on, so new lighting layout and flooring as well. The work started on time and Raj and his team broke down everything that had was carried out each day and when certain processes were about to happen. They done a fantastic job fitting it all, it looks really nice and you can tell they take pride in their work due to their attention to detail. I highly recommend them and they will be my first choice for any other work I need carried out in the future.

ELIMAX CARPENTRY LTD was very responsive to the job posting and was able to get the pull out kitchen tray installed within 3 days. There was a manufacturer defect with the kit, which affected the “pulling traction” but Johannes was able to rectify it so the installation went smoothly. Overall, Johannes was very friendly, reliable and neat in his workmanship. We would not hesitate to use his services again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am a specialist in Floor restoration and sanding and re-sealing using the latest 99% dust free sanding machines I Have a GNVQ level 3 in impervious vinyl installation and a IOC (institute of carpentry and joinery) distinction at level 3 I am meticulously detailed in the way in my trade, I never cut corners, I do it right the first time, every time. I have never had a floor fail on me and have never been called back because the customer was not happy. I can solve damp problems, cracked screed and leveling of screeds I have undertaken many large projects such as London School of Economics, Harrods and Diesel stores I am fairly priced and think I offer value for money for my customers I have 100s of recommendations and testimonials if you would like to see them please just ask.

Callum did a good job of replacing some panelling and fitting handrails on the stairs in our three storey house. He arrived punctually, worked hard and left the house tidy each day.
