I hired Kurt to refresh a wooden outhouse which had fallen into disrepair. Kurt advised on where materiel could be re-used or where replacements would be needed. He and his team completed the work to the highest standard and I am delighted with the results. He was open and engaging throughout the work and his team were a pleasure to host. Strongly recommend.

We hired Radim for a airing cupboard wall removal, he arrived on time, worked hard for 5 hours, completed the job same day and cleaned up after. job done we hired him again for a shower retile job and a bedroom refurb he will also help us fit a new kitchen and possible garage conversion Look no further, you found a hidden gem!

Mariusz did an incredible job on the kitchen and a number of other jobs in the end. I bought a second hand kitchen and he was able to trim it all up to fit the space perfectly, and even built extra cupboards in order for me to have a belfast sink as the kitchen didn't come with the right cupboards for that. Mariusz also hung doors, fitted new locks, fitted window sills, worktops, and made me some new airing cupboard doors. What a super guy - extremely helpful and reliable and wouldn't hesitate to use him again for anything carpentry wise and other general bits around the house.

HJC Carpentry offer more than just carpentry. My job (caused by serious damp damage) involved removal of plaster, damp-proofing the bare walls, fixing plasterboard and plastering with finish plaster. A void being allowed between wall and board as a prevention to future damp ingress. A number of joists had to be replaced, together with the entire floor (tongue & groove flooring). We used this opportunity to introduce 100mm insulation board beneath the floor which is situated over a void. The work was started at the quoted time and was carried out diligently and with due respect to neighbours. For the duration of the work I was ‘kept in the loop’ with regard to progress and the work was completed to schedule.

Standard of workmanship was excellent, and he was great at explaining timings, next steps etc. Very pleased with outcome. I can recommend him very highly.

I found Stefan extremely helpful and flexible. The work was completed on time with no problems along the way. I had new flooring, painting, refurbishment of an existing kitchen with appliance installation and a new bathroom. He was very considerate towards other residents in the block of flats and there were no complaints of disruption, noise or mess. I was always relieved with how mindful he was about cost and saving without cutting corners but yet appreciated my budget. And I always came back to a clean flat everyday. I am very impressed with the standard of work and have recommended him to other people. Certainly if I had work to be done again, I would ask Stefan.

I am city and guilds trained to a high level and started working as a joiner as an apprentice in a joinery shop , I have a good eye for detail. I can supply references if required .
