Archie build alcove floating shelving and shaker style cupboards beneath for our victorian terrace living room. Archie's workmanship is excellent, he is a truly skilled carpenter. He is professional, friendly, and hard working. He is also approachable and helped us to plan other jobs in out house too. He was reliable and we are very pleased with the end result. Archie also went on to landscape our garden. Leveling out the ground, building sleeper beds, filling and laying turf. Tremendous job too!

Exceptional service from start to finish! Peter and his team surpassed expectations in completing the job with phenomenal results. Throughout the entire process, they maintained a positive attitude and a 'can-do' approach. Peter's proactive problem-solving skills were evident as he always had alternative solutions at hand for any challenges that arose. During the cutting phase of our ceilings, the insulation company had to stop the job and asked us to get the electric cables checked by a professional before they seal the foam. It was 6pm by the time I posted at MyBuilder and Rob was very responsive to help us understand whether there is a problem. He came and checked the cables the other day right on time, even talked with the insulation team himself to solve the technical issues. He was very proactive and full of advice and he tested all our electrical cabling system also the other day. We can not thank him and recommend him more. I shortlisted Paul from the my builder.com and selected him out of five carpenters who has shown interest in my project. The job is not yet completed but I am very happy so far. He comes really early in the morning and start working. He keeps me updated as to what he will do next. He seems very knowledgeable and very skilled carpenter who knows exactly what he is doing. He also have a good communication skills but me being so busy lately I am not always able to spend time with him or have a chat. He's very talkative and he talk about sensible stuff. As a person, Paul is very down to earth, very talented, well behaved, well mannered. I have given his contact details to some of my friends and family who are thinking of getting some building work done. He is more than a carpenter as his portfolio covers all aspects of building work. I would highly recommend Paul for any carpentry work. Right now he is installing my kitchen units from Wren. Everything he has done so far is amazing. I am looking forward to see the use of mitre cut to join two worktop together which he will do tomorrow with the help of a friend I guess. I wish him success and all the best in his future endeavours. As I said he is highly recommended, it was the best decision I made by selecting him for the job. The quotation he has given me for the job is definitely value for money.

Gary was excellent in every way. He was on time every day, did the work diligently without compromise and was always cheerful. The job threw up some challenges which he took on and solved without complaint and the price I paid was exactly what he had quoted despite these challenges that clearly took more time than he planned on. He was very neat and tidy and cleared up at the end of each day. We were so pleased with his work we asked him to look at another job which he priced fairly and completed the following week. I am grateful we have found him and will definitely call on him again when we need work done as he covers all trades and skills.

We have agreed the price and time. Job shouldn’t be taking more then 7,8 days. First day was a bit unlucky due too water pipe joint broke and caused a leak(hallway ceiling damage and needs plaster, paint. Somebody with 30 years experience should switch water supply off though. After that experience I was a bit worried but accidents happened and anybody need a second chance so work was carried on still. Bathtub fitted, wall tiling done, radiator fitted.i was thinking lovely. Do like it. Still few more things to finish our project. Wall shelves were next to do. Tilling over it done. he went home 4 pm. Bathtub was a bit dusty so I’ve done a bit of cleaning. What I have found out shock me a bit. Silicone over on 4 different places so I have removed it and found out scratches on bathtub. Could believe why my builder put silicone over Scratches. Phone him straight away to understand why he did it. What I heard back was shocking. his explanation was even more shocking because apparently he was trying to help me out. He was saying in the morning when he start working scratches were already there. Off Saturday so I was at home. Clearly if you are builder and found out something dodgy you should let customer know straight away to avoid arguing I think. he try to blame me for damaging my bathtub. Doesn’t want to replace damaging goods so I have to terminate our job. Would highly not recommend him at any cost. really not happy. Had to hire another builder to carry on my project.

I would highly recommend using Luxiva. They have done a first class job in installing my kitchen and were very helpful in solving the issues that inevitably arise (like missing parts from the supplier, for instance) with a calm, can-do attitude, all thanks to their experience and expertise. My new worktop looks lovely, due to their facilities at their workshop to get it all cut precisely, which I was very impressed with. Not only a lovely and friendly team, Tony and Ron are also reliable, worked conscientiously and efficiently to get the job done. I would have no hesitations in recommending Luxiva and shall definitely reach out to them again in the future for any other works that are required.

Cannot praise Ovi enough for how he has transformed my bathroom- he had all the great ideas and put them into action. Treated my home with the upmost respect worked extremely hard and did everything that he could to ensure that everything was completed to the highest standard.
