I am an ex Foreign Office Project Manager that ran building and refurbishment projects within British Embassies, Consular buildings & Ambassadors Residences worldwide. I have excellent communication skills and am 100% dedicated to my customers. I have had some time away from here due to project managing a £2m house build in Crowborough, East Sussex which had taken a little over a year to complete.

A bad experience with Stu. He said he would start the job within a few days of the quote, however, it turned out to be his junior only, who was onsite for the next 2 weeks on his own. The junior had only just started working with stu for 3 weeks, with only the very basic of skills. I kept asking Stu where he was and why he wasn't doing my job.....turns out he was doing somebodies else's job and charging me full price for a junior. On the very rare occasion that Stu did decide to do some work on my kitchen (he actually did some work for 4-5 days out of a whole month), I found him to be very difficult to work with. He would ask questions that he should know the answers to, he would be argumentative, he would make up endless excuses about why things weren't done, using his children and personal life as the reason. Stu eventually walked out after a month of doing my job. Barely anything was done, and what was done was done in the wrong order so I ended up paying a new builder just as much money as the original quote. I paid Stu almost £2000 and not even the first electrical fix was done. Quite frankly I don't know what to think. Is it because I'm a young single female and I'm inexperienced in these matters ? I have been taken advantage of and feel I am owed at least half of what I paid as have had to pay for another builder to finish the work at more than the original price. Let's hope Stu feels some sense of guilt or remorse for how he has treated me.

Job never started. I think the trade-person realised eventually that he can't make this type of job. Making a lot of excuses of personal nature he eventually rejected to start the project. God is the judge for him! However his treatment of the potential "employers" does not look good. As a result of his actions the project was started only at the beginning of August. Now it is completed thanks to other trades-people.

Sam did a very professional job on our kitchen and down stairs toilet cupboard. He kept us informed of his progress and always made sure that the works progress and completion was to our expectation. The work was started and fineshed on time and within the budget we had planned. All areas were left in a clean and tidy state.

Lee responded quickly to my advert and gave an initial quote. Lee attended my address, arriving on time, to sight the job and clarify what I was after. Job and quote agreed. Lee arrived when he said he would and complicated the job to a high standard. His work was clean and tidy and I'd have no issues either recommending or using him again.
