Please avoid, Isaac and his decorator Sam. Told me the job would take 2 weeks to complete, but took them 1 month solely down to the work ethic and productivity. Also demands full payment before the work has been completed. and refuses to complete the work unless he receives full payment for work he has not completed. The agreement was for me to make half the payment after week one (which I did ) and then full payment after all the work has been completed, which Isaac refuses to do and does not answer calls and refuses to return any messages. Also his friend Sam which Isaac took on to do the decoration has done an dreadful job he also demanded full payment before he completed the work. His productivity and standard of work was appalling. I would not recommend these guys to anyone and we'll definitely not use them again. Also be aware these guys trade under different names.

Callum refurbished my old kitchen to an extremely high standard, it now looks fantastic,up to date and modern and I am extremely happy with the outcome. He also completed additional jobs for me around the house. Everything he worked on looks amazing. Callum was very reliable and the price extremely competitive. I wanted a new kitchen that would look really good and maximise the utility of the space that I had. Rom advised on what was possible and suggested improvements to what I initially envisioned. He helped me to get a good deal on the furniture and appliances and how to keep costs (including his fee) low. The result was brilliant and still looks contemporary today (10 years on). I have subsequently employed Rom to fit a new bathroom, hardboard the loft, install a new boiler and create bespoke storage units. His skill set is broad (carpentry, plumbing, gas fitting, painting among others) but is as deep, if not deeper, then many specialists which means that he can bring to your job skills and experience that few tradespeople can offer. He is completely trustworthy and very reliable. He is considerate and respects your home as if it was his. He takes considerable pride in his work which may mean that he might not be a quick finishing your job as other tradespeople but, in my view, this is a cost worth incurring. I recommend Rom without hesitation.

It was a fortunate day when I decided to use My Builder to find a kitchen fitter for my project to replace kitchens in rental properties; and chose Zen Interiors from the site. Paul was absolutely brilliant I can’t' recommend him enough; he also has the contacts to complete any extra work involved e.g. plastering which makes the project flow with ease. Paul made some pertinent suggestions during the project which I wouldn’t have thought of but I am delighted that I used the suggestions & the end result is far better than I would ever have hoped. Paul was quick to sort out the issue when the trade only kitchen supply company, didn't measure the kitchens correctly, so the units wouldn’t fit. Paul is a conscientious tradesman; his attention to detail sets him apart from many other tradesmen I have used in the past and can be seen in on the finish of the kitchen. I can’t wait to use him again to install the other two kitchens, in the coming months.

Chris did a good job of fitting my new door frames and doors. It’s a project that started in May 2025, however, after a few back & forth’s due to plastering work, we have waited for him to come back and finish off the architrave. Have eventually been advised by him that he has contract work and it might be worth finding someone else. This is after chasing him up on a couple of occasions. Work quality is good. Customer service poor. Even had a text message, which I thought was rude.
