Replaced spindles on staircase, job was done ok,but left one spindle loose. When finished I asked for a receipt and that I would do a bank transfer, he then became very angry, and would not give a receipt, he then demanded an extra 20 percent as I wanted to do a bank transfer for labour, I did however agree to give him cash for the materials, which he followed me to the bank. I would not want this man back again.

Had Stuart fit a new kitchen for us. A bit tricky as we designed it ourselves being rather cost conscious. Stuart was able to adapt to our needs, come up with solutions to unforseen issues we aren't aware of, and he worked efficiently and to budget. The finished job was of a very good standard. Very happy and will use again when needed. Really nice guy and the right guy for the job. Simon

The project was the conversion of an existing derelict bakery, stables and coach house. The second floor was used as a hay loft and storage of flour. The building had subsidence at one end as well as the upper walls being unstable due to the weight of the roof. There was an extension (garden room) 3 x 9 meters. The floor area is in the region of 250 sq meters. Mr Burton was employed on the build due to a recommendation from a member of my family. A third of the building was carefully demolished and re-built using reclaimed bricks. The brickwork is immaculate and the new work matches the original courses. Mr Burton and his team take pride in their work and are skilled at all aspects of construction as well as carpentry. Through Mr Burtons input we were able to make substantial cost savings and by slight modifications to the plans add an extra en-suite and increase the size of the main bedroom. Through Mr Burtons contacts we used his recommended plumber,roofer and electrician. These tradesmen worked to a high standard. In conclusion Mr Burton was reliable, trustworthy and completed the project to a high standard. The outside groundwork, drive, patio and retaining walls complement the building. For any future work I would not hesitate in employing Mr Anthony Burton.
