Nigel really did come to our rescue. Our builder has cancelled days before and left us with half demolished kitchen for Christmas. Nigel responded to the add and came the next day. From the minute Nigel arrived to the day he left 4 weeks later we had total confidence and worry free project. Nigel not only did our kitchen and dining room, he took one extra work such as a new bathroom upstairs and down and did some much needed decorating of our hallway and stairs. Everything completed was with complete transparency and honesty. Nigel not only saved the day for us with his work, but also befriended my 3 year old daughter and took the time to play and engage with her when she was around the house. That personal touch to everything Nigel did was fantastic topping to an excellent tradesman who knows how to complete a work to a very high standard. Nigel, his brother Paul and the team of trades he introduced us to were the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I will most definitely employ all of them again in future work and its safe to say I have found a tradesman for all future work in your properties. It's a real relief and pleasure to have a trades in the house who you can trust. The stress relief from that alone is priceless. I really did not want to leave less than 5 stars for Alex and Adam as I found them friendly and professional, however I have been let down with incomplete work, which I believe will not be completed. I initially chose North Man Stone because they were good on their communication as opposed to others whom I would have had to relentlessly chase. Unfortunately, it has now been a month since they communicated with me and I have made several attempts to. I have actually been extremely patient from the beginning with delays in work, more than anyone else would. Granted that my kitchen is in a working state however, it does not reflect what I had asked for. The error in workmanship was admitted by Alex to be from his stone supplier/cutter however, they should have still completed the work to the standard agreed upon. Warning to all, always hold at least 25% of the final payment till work is complete, something I should have done, but then again, I did trust them.

Please avoid, Isaac and his decorator Sam. Told me the job would take 2 weeks to complete, but took them 1 month solely down to the work ethic and productivity. Also demands full payment before the work has been completed. and refuses to complete the work unless he receives full payment for work he has not completed. The agreement was for me to make half the payment after week one (which I did ) and then full payment after all the work has been completed, which Isaac refuses to do and does not answer calls and refuses to return any messages. Also his friend Sam which Isaac took on to do the decoration has done an dreadful job he also demanded full payment before he completed the work. His productivity and standard of work was appalling. I would not recommend these guys to anyone and we'll definitely not use them again. Also be aware these guys trade under different names.

I could not have made a better choice in choosing Dan to complete my works, he was not only a gentleman and a very nice guy but he took pride in the works that he was doing and that showed in the excellent job that he did. The work he did was stunning and the bedroom that he completed for me was far beyond anything I could have imagined. If you want a trades person that not only enjoys his work but takes care and pride in what he does, this is definitely the man for the job. I finished my NVQ 1,2 & 3 in Shopfitting when I was 19 years old. I completed this at Bournemouth and Poole College of Further Education and received all my qualifications. I also won National Apprenticeship of the year in 1994. After this, I worked for a high end Kitchen Company in Portsmouth for 10 years, since then I have been a self employed Kitchen Fitter and also specialise in Kitchen Makeovers. So my overall years of my experience has been 25 years.
