I initially hired a contractor based on a personal recommendation, however I soon lived to regret this decision. I then contacted UR BUILDERS who picked up from where the previous contractor left of. The previous builder caused an awful lot of damage to the property and had made a long list of mistakes leaving my property unsafe and inhabitable. Gurpreet took the time to evaluate the situation and provided an itemised schedule of work required to put the job right and to complete the build. This included structural support for chimney, extending pipe work to Reinstate boiler so we had hot water and heating, Superstructure, drains, concrete floor including excavation with DPM, partitions, velux windows, first fit electrics and plastering. The team worked tirelessly, navigating issues with building control in the process. Gurpreet and his team worked through wind, rain in the cold of December to enable me to return to my home. The team are hardworking 6 days a week and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I was unable to complete the job with UR BUILDERS due to budget constraints.

Berat did a wonderful job refurbishing my flat. Fair prices and great work. New kitchen, new bathroom installed. New flooring put down, new lights completed along with installation of a new electric tank. All walls painted as well. Reliable and great communication. Very happy with all the work. Gives advice on the best materials or fixes that are needed. Would recommend to anyone wanting some building work done you won’t be disappointed. Thank you!

This person is an excellent tradesperson. Really genuine. He put together my PAX wardrobe and PAX/Bergsbo cupboard efficiently and with care and attention. He arrived on time and was pleasant throughout and did not change the price even though his original quote was an estimate. Really good value for money. I would highly recommend this individual and would give him work again.

Overall experience absolute stress!!! First impression decent tradesmen and fair price but the following happened 1. Turned up 1hour late 2. Parking issues(I ended up paying as delaying job starting) 3. Didnt seem like he had done a Ikea PAX wardrobe(didn’t understand sliding door mechanism even though I provided code for my order so he can check) 4. Complained about paint smell (confusing I have been living in property for 1 month with husband & child no issues) 5. Left job after 2.5hrs incomplete because of paint smell, and asked for 1/2 agreed payment upfront & return another day to finish) my husband confirms he had another job but gave this excuse but I paid in good faith. 6. Messaged me to state that I mis informed him of the size of the wardrobe and the job would require more money( laughable as I gave him the Pax wardrobe code to see all info regarding this. 7. Confirmed he wanted additional £70 to finish the job and compared himself to what Ikea would charge. I would of went to Ikea if i wanted to spend a arm and a leg Daniel don’t price a job if you have not fully researched what is needed especially when the customer provided you with codes to check wardrobe. And especially don’t think it’s acceptable to change a price because of your own oversight and leave a job 1/2 done because of paint smell. Next time wear a mask if you have such a sensitive sense of smell, this was the most inconvenience and waste of time & money with this tradesmen

Derian did an absolutely phenomenal job installing our Howdens kitchen from start to finish. He provided a very competitive quote and completed the entire installation, seamlessly managing every aspect of the project with incredible skill. This included complex plumbing and electrical work which meant we did not need to coordinate with multiple trades. He effortlessly handled our uneven walls and tricky corners with clever, custom solutions. I would highly recommend him for any kitchen installation.

Tiled kitchen floor unfortunately didn’t go to plan. However, I would give this company credit for trying they returned twice more to replace cracking grout. Floor should have been fully boarded prior to tiling and was only partially boarded. At more expense to us we have had to physically remove all tiles and had the floor fully boarded and re floored without any further issues. Despite issues raised Company given 3 stars because during the problems they were very supportive and they tried to rectify the issues.

We are not entirely satisfied with Ludovic's work. Some of the tiles were not cut to the correct messurement which left big gaps in between. Worse still, the grouting was very messy and did not have a smooth finish. We will now have to get another Tiler to redo some of the tiling work. Overall, it was not a professional job and we are not very happy with his workmanship.
