Thanas recently refurbished our bathroom, which involved ripping out the existing bathroom, plastering the walls, tiling the wall and floors, installing the new bathroom suite and painting. We were extremely impressed with the quality of work that was done and have no hesitation in recommending Nicholas & George Builders Ltd. Thanas worked long days and weekends to get the job completed, and was patient when we incurred delays from suppliers which held the job up. Advice was offered on the best way to complete certain aspects of the job, and which materials would be best suited for the installation. A specific example of the quality of work, was when at one point, after laying the floor tiles, Thanas discovered that the grout we had sourced was not properly securing the tiles, so he took all of the tiles back up, sourced some better grout and re-tiled the floor, which most builders would probably not have done. A week or so after the installation was completed, and once everything had bedded in, we noticed a small problem with a seal on the basin tap that we had bought, which Thanas quickly came out to fix in his own time and free of charge. The finished bathroom looks beautiful, and we cannot fault Thanas' quality of work and commitment to delivering the best outcome possible. Thanas works to very high standards and will not consider the job finished until those standards are met. We are planning on refurbising our kitchen next year and Thanas will be the first person that we call.

Bogdan arrived on time with his brother to do the kitchen. They worked all day and did an amazing job. They were professional and polite, and even fitted cupboard doors in a unit in my bedroom. I couldn't pay them on the day, but Bogdan said it was fine, and trusted me to pay him in a few day's, in which I did. I would 100% use him again. So refreshing to find people you can trust.

James did a really excellent job building me a built-in wardrobe and cupboard, put some shelves up in an alcove, re-hung three doors that were dragging on carpets, put two locks on doors that I needed to be made secure and also put a shelf in my laundry cupboard. James really helped with the design of everything and listened to my input too. He was punctual, hardworking, tidy and the standard of workmanship was excellent. I would have no qualms in recommending James.

Didn't turn up on the day as arranged to fit our new kitchen. Got his wife to send a text on the day he was contracted to start saying that he couldn't do the job and that he wouldn't be available to take my call. Delivery of the kitchen had been arranged by Howdens and he wasn't at the house to accept the goods We had to find another kitchen fitter which of course has taken up a lot of time.We are out of pocket through the whole experience. I thought My builder vetted the tradespeople on their site; clearly not! He just messed everyone around

We recently hired CBA to carry out removing a load-bearing wall to create an open-plan kitchen and dining area as well as completely ripping out and refitting two bathrooms. From start to finish, their work was fantastic They are an incredibly hardworking, Christian and Viorel take great pride in what they do. Saulius turned up to view the work as agreed. Gave a good price and because of his professional approach I gave him the whole kitchen to install. He's been completely professional throughout and completed the whole kitchen in 3days. As a property developer and landlord I will be using Saulius again. I have already passed on recommendations to other friends.

Ian has been working here on/off over a 2 month period to suit us. Lots done, very happy and looks great - also a fair price for the work. Wooden floor relaid (morons laid before then disappeared). Kitchen run stripped out and complete integrated units installed all plumbed, fitted with fiddly carpentry needed. Panelling put up, (2 rooms) wall lights installed, and then refurbishment of further kitchen, stripped back, repainted and reconfigured, installing/plumbing new appliances. Great finishes. Very trustworthy, quite funny on occasion and was happy to have him in our home alone. Happy to take on most challenges (not much he hasn't seen and done) and just needs a bit of banter occasionally and lots of tea - obviously. Would definitely recommend and have seldom said that about most who have worked here for us. Thank you Ian - we now have a virtually new kitchen/diner and you have restored my belief in good honest tradesmen out there!

We had Chris round to fit new laminate worktops to an old kitchen, a lot of the units were not level and Chris did a fantastic job of making sure everything fitted nice and level. The joints are near invisible, we are really pleased with his work and would definitely recommend him. He starts early and works hard all day. You will find Chris to be very professional and such a friendly guy. Loved chatting with him. Thanks Chris is was lovely to meet you and thank you for the great work. A++😀
