Complete redecoration of two rooms - one dining room, one childs bedroom. Simon finished both rooms to a very high quality. He was prompt, efficient and very hard working. He worked full days and cleared up at the end of the day so the house was not dusty or dirty each day. He was very professional and reliable and his rates were very reasonable We currently plan to rehire him to complete our house decoration and would happily recommend him to others.

I am so pleased with the Ikea kitchen AF&PE fitted for me, I was very worried at first as IKEA kitchen comes in boxes as I was not sure if AF&PE would be able to fit it but the fitter quickly reassured me. I love my new kitchen & I have recommended AF&PE to few of my friends & family.

Keith did a fantastic job at fitting my new kitchen. I have a large kitchen so he had his work cut out, everything was done exactly how i wanted. The finished work is fabulous. He also designed and built a double wardrobe in a alcove in my bedroom making the most of the space I had. The quality of work on both jobs was to a very high standard. He fitted work around my schedule, He was very tidy and very reliable. He was on time every morning without fail and left at a reasonable time and there was very little disruption to my routine (I have young children.) The work was done at a reasonable rate and I was happy to pay this. His attention to detail which I asked him for was very precise he is very hard working. I would recommend Keith to anyone.

I honestly wish I could give zero stars. Hiring this builder was the worst mistake. I initially contacted him for kitchen cabinets, and after visiting my property he said he could also do flooring and other work. He gave me a quote and we agreed on two payments. Somehow this turned into five payments — and even after all that, his work is still incomplete. Every step was a struggle. Instead of providing solutions, his favorite line was “I can’t do this.” For every problem, he only came up with excuses, never fixes. I had to come up with solutions myself, and even then he refused. He claimed to have experience with IKEA kitchens, but later contradicted himself and made it clear he had no idea what he was doing. The quality of the little he did complete is poor, and the rest he just abandoned. To make matters worse, he kept pressuring me for the final payment before finishing his job, and even threatened that he would “get the money one way or another.” Completely unprofessional.

JP executed as planned. He came on time in an accommodating time, delivered quicker than expected and was absolutely honest on what he didn't need to charge me for. Mr Mihail Arama is very knowledgeable of his profession and was very thorough with the work. Before changing the fusebox he checked all the electrical points that would need addressing in the house. As I live in a house built in the 80s, he explained what changes were required in order to be safe and obtain the safety compliance certificate. He explained how the different house circuits were organised in the fuse box and checked that all worked as expected after the installation. As I had issues with my old stove and oven which caused the fusebox to trip he returned to make sure that all cables were in the right circuit and explained why that was happening. After a few days , he followed up to make sure that I had received the certificate and that everything was in order. He also installed a power shower and took great care in checking previously all the requirements that were needed. He made himself available for any issues post-installation and replied promptly and courteously. Mr Mihail Arama is a serious professional that will listen to your concerns and will find a solution for them. I don't hesitate to recommend him for any electrical jobs that you may have.

Dimitar has just finished completely re-doing the kitchen in our flat, including fitting spotlights, levelling the existing floor (using concrete) and fitting a new wooden floor on top, fitting the kitchen itself, tiling, moving gas pipes and electrics and re-painting. He also re-plastered and painted the hall, boxed in some pipework and the boiler and replaced the skirting boards. The job took 13 working days in total. His work was fantastic and I would highly recommend him. He came and quoted promptly, started on the agreed date and even came and worked on a Saturday to ensure the job was completed on time. He was upfront with the price and kept costs down as much as possible when additional work outside the agreed scope cropped up. When issues arose, he called me at work and emailed pictures. He always presented me with the options and estimated costs. Dimitar has a good relationship with Howdens where we bought the kitchen and liaised with them regarding delivery. He also dealt with the worktop company and made sure everything was in sync timing-wise. He was careful and highly trustworthy - we felt completely comfortable giving him a set of keys to come and go as he pleased over the couple of weeks. In summary, I would highly recommend Marton builders. We are (hopefully!) having them back to re-do our bathroom in the New Year.

I used this company to refurbish my kitchen and bathroom. They initially started well and worked quickly. After a couple of delays, which is understandable on projects like this, I felt they began to rush the job, and the finishing towards the end was not great, especially as I was not around much and they seemed more focused on their next job. I also had an issue where the boiler condensate pipe was left routed outside instead of being properly connected, and this was not not corrected by afterwards even when they said they would fix it. Overall, the price was reasonable, but I would recommend keeping a close eye on the work from start to finish.
