Hired to do kitchen work tops , after starting the job and cutting the worktop Andrew then decided to let me know that he didn't have a cutter to do joins so had to use a strip. I agreed reluctantly. Once the job was done I noticed there was a gap on the strip which was approximately quarter of an inch so it was not flush to the worktop. I phoned Andrew and he apologised and said he would come next week. It is now 5months on and he isn't answering any of my texts or phone calls. I paid him in good faith on the understanding he would be back the following week, he let me down. I have had another tradesman to look at the job and has picked up a few other mistakes done ,he said if a tradesman was taking on a job like this he should have the right equipment . Hence he is a cowboy, please don't hire him you won't have a good job done just a botched one

Brilliant job on my window installation. Carl and his colleague, were professional, courteous and very amiable. With the coronavirus pandemic a great deal of time had elapsed from the initial quote to the actual work being carried out, but it was worth the wait. Really good job with an excellent finish. The new window has transformed the look of the whole room Thanks Carl :)

I wouldn't leave negative or neutral feedback as Chris was great. Friendly and reliable. When I first said what I needed done, I assumed he had quoted for all of it. To my surprise the kickbacks were not quoted for, didn't realise this until he had finished. Fair play he stayed until 9.30pm, only problem was after coming off a night shift myself I was too tired by that time to ask questions etc. Price was a little high from what we had done as it didn't include kickbacks and wall units which we will do ourselves. The worktops looks great and so do the upstands. Also the end panels that Chris did fit. There were 2/3 left for us to do! In all fairness he did come back the next day as none of us knew there was a different end panel for one, had a curved edge. So I will say he was fantastic in coming back out within a couple of hours to change it. The edging tape he did a few but again we had to do the rest. Little bit annoying as we were paying for it all to be done not have to do it ourselves. However I would recommend and use his services again as like I said previously he is very reliable, friendly and did a great job on the worktops etc just a shame the price for what I needed done was a little high especially with having to finish off things ourselves. I will recommend to friends and family, great guy!!

We recently completed a loft conversion with Dean and his team at Blakeon, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The workmanship has been excellent throughout, and the new loft space has completely transformed the house while feeling fully integrated with the rest of the property. What really stood out was the communication, reliability and flexibility. As the project progressed, I refined several design decisions before they were finalised, and Dean was always patient, accommodating and willing to discuss options. The project included a number of additional complexities, all of which were handled professionally and pragmatically. I also remained living in the house throughout the build, and the team were consistently respectful, considerate and easy to work with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dean and his team and am already discussing future projects with him.

INITIAL REVIEW: Ieuan is really polite, informative, flexible and he did a great job on the doors etc! It’s been great working with him and I have hired him for another job and will definitely do again in the future. UPDATE: I re-engaged Ieuan after the positive first experience but sadly the second experience has not been so great. He made a mistake on the second job which we only realised after I had paid for the job and he left. The lock he installed is only locking from inside but not from outside. I have been asking him for more than a month to come back and correct it but he has not. He has been difficult to reach and has promised to come a few times but not showed up. I now have to engage someone else to fix it.
