“Absolutely delighted with the work. Was very experienced at demolishing walls and easily set back electrics (happy to remove old wiring too) and sorted plumping with no problem. Was not qualified for gas so we had to leave one pipe alone. Then he finished with patching and making good. (However skirting was not done which I had asked for- maybe misunderstood) Was available at short notice and keen to get the work completed at an excellent standard in just 1 day. Reasonable quote also included taking away all waste. Exceptionally hard grafter and helped us hang a curtain rail as a bonus. would hire again.”

“John is definitely one of a kind. After deciding we wanted to knock through our narrow kitchen into our dining room we contacted John. We weren’t planning on doing this job for a few months, but once I mentioned to John that we were putting a new bathroom in upstairs under where the wall is being removed in a few weeks time, John advised it was best to remove the wall before the bathroom just to be on the safe side, which makes total sense. Within 2 and a half weeks of contacting John, the job is just about complete. He is happy to answer absolutely any question or concern and talk through the job with you. We had some issues with my original calculations which he sorted with his own structural engineer. One of the builders didn’t turn up on the day so it was just him and 2 labourers but he got both our jobs done in a day and is returning in a couple of days to finish off the chimney breast before being signed off by building control.
