Called out and the leak in the kitchen had a tiled roof over half of kitchen then a dormer window with flat roof on top up to ridge height The original F1 felt was perished and recommended replacing it Removed all tiles from the dormer down to the gutters Replaced the felt with breathable roofing membrane and treated timber battens with eaves protection trays All tiled refitted and lead on dormer dressed onto the top tiles After a few weeks said it was leaking still Came out checking the felt and all seemed fine, replaced two tiles repaired with silicone ( already like that) and said if still leaking I would come back and use a hose pipe while work man in loft area Called back and said surveyor had checked it and said the lead wasn’t dressed onto tiles fully, about 3-4mm gap I called back and dressed lead and also used lead mate to seal lead to tiles I knew that it would do nothing unless rain starts going up not down, and the felt under lead and tiles was new and in tact, then because they lied about survey ( anybody could see rain couldn’t get in under lead and through new felt, didn’t call back to say that it was leaking still, if given chance to check with hose I would have identified the leak and fixed it , bad review because instead of letting me solve problem ( came back within 1/2 days each time called ) thought telling me a surveyor had checked it and that the lead would solve it Customer knows best
