Job completed professionally. Very Good!

Quick response to my request. Fair quote, did a nice neat job with minimum of fuss and cleaned up after.

W Hartley Ltd responded to my request very quickly and visited the site the very next day. I had a couple of quotes that were the same in cost, but just had a good feeling about this company. They completed the job 2 days later and did a brilliant job. The site was left clean and tidy and the new guttering, facias and roofing look superb and all at a good value for money price.

Prompt response. Prompt visit. Easily fixed issue of a dropped down soffit vent.

Fair pricing. Work explained clearly. No more leaking gutter!

Would I recommend this company. No. Reasons being.1. When it rained heavily they took no precautions to cover the part of the exposed roof. Resulting in water pouring through our bedroom ceiling. Three weeks on we still have a dehumidifier drying it out. 2. The roofer dropped three tiles onto our newly replacement porch roof. This resulted in the rubber roof splitting. 3. Our neighbours guttering was broken by the roofers ladder leaning against it which they denied until I offered to show him the before and after photos. I was very disappointed by the way Will reacted to these three problems. His attitude to all three was to deny them. I don’t take very kindly to being accused of making false allegations and certainly don’t expect this from a company that advertises they are second to none. In defence to Will he has refunded the cost of the damaged rubber roof but only when I asked him for his insurance details. He previously denied the roof had split. It wasn’t until I went up on the roof to check it after being told it was ok by him that I found it split. I’m left with a split roof for the next 4 months as the roofer we used originally is fully booked until then. In the meantime more damage can occur. So my recommendations would be do before and after photos and be there when the work is being done. If I wasn’t there I wouldnt have known about these problems straight away. I would’ve expected at least an apology for the damage they caused but it was never forthcoming.
