A complete refurb of an ensuite bathroom
Peter is absolutely brilliant, would highly recommend! He came over on a Saturday to check out the current state of the ensuite and to provide a quote, and started work on the Monday. As I wasn't living in the flat at the time, he sent me pictures every evening to show me what he had done that day, which was great.I am thrilled with the end result!

    full refitting
We origanaly picked Peter to work on our bathroom as his quote was resonable and he was immediately engaged in what we were wanting to atchive, ensuring simple things like light fittings were not missed off. The transformation of our bathroom ended up being amazing, we wanted the original to be stripped out and then everything moved to new locations including moving the boiler, this was not a small job. Peter covered every aspect from the masonry, to the plumbing, to the finishing touches with skill and professionalism. When a few abnormalities in our flat were discovered, all issues came with solutions that did not compromise on our design and a dedication to get the job done well. Peter was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, always friendly and our cat loved him!

    Installing bathroom radiator
I offer only high praise for Pete. He wonderfully polite. Good comms at the start. He turned up to do the job when he said he would. And he completed the task with minimal fuss. It was a first-rate job done by a first-rate plumber. I would use him again, without hesitation and I highly recommend him.

Central heating / plumbing installation, 2 bed flat
We asked Pete to give us a quote for installing central heating and a new bathroom off the back of his reviews. Out of all the plumbers who gave us quotes Peter stood out as, not only was his price very reasonable, he provided the most detail and best ideas for things such as the routing of the pipes around the flat. Peter works quickly and efficiently and was very flexible around the other work we were having done at the same time (removing and re-hanging radiators, for example, to allow for plastering, for no extra charge). We were probably not the easiest of customers but Peter patiently changed anything that we wanted done differently. Above all Pete is a hardworking, nice guy who is very easy to get along with. Thanks for the hard work Pete, really appreciate it.

remove bathroom fittings, replace and retile
This guy is a gem. a real rarity. punctual, thorough, turned up every day when he said he would, no radio blaring, did everything we asked him to at a fair price. we agreed a time frame and he kept to it. he is happy to use text to keep you up to date with the job (we were away most of the time) and we left him in our flat to do all the work and he just got on with it. He removed all the rubbish and left the bathroom clean and tidy. we would thoroughly recommend him.

    Flat renovation with central heating

Peter installed central heating in my flat (1 radiator and 1 towel rail). Peter was friendly (at the start) and the quote was competitive and the work was carried out in time. However, whilst I could now heat up my place, I was left without hot water in the middle of November. When I mentioned this to Peter and asked him to come round to have a look, he agreed in principle but demanded that I pay him the outstanding amount first. I refused in the first place and he became very aggressive and threatened me by email / text. He dodged responsibility and said it could have been the electrician. After seeking legal advice at work, I was told that I could be in breach of contract if I didn’t pay him so I paid him the money. I then had to look for another plumber to come and fix the issue. It was a very simple 2-minute job and I was charged £80 for it. Between the time the problem happened and the time I could get a plumber in, 5/6 days went by and I couldn’t shower in my flat, which was a real nuisance.

    Answer from tradesperson:

Nothing more then you wrote. You ve had boiler breakdown (week after, boiler wasnt involved in the work I carried) and I intended to come but how can you expect other work if you didnt pay for materials and my work. Not threat but info, going to claim CCJ to take back material money

We are looking for rough quote for full re plumbing of 2bed flat in Rotherhithe SE16 We dont have access to the flat till 18 Jan but work will include: new combi boiler 4 new radiators full kitchen and bathroom plumbing most of the pipes can be plastic speedfit pipes and can be ran on ceilings as the'll be dropped down slightly. No need for any chasing

Absolute joke of a plumber He started the job a week late holding the project up than got on with the work for three days and disappeared for a week again. When he came back he would start work around 11am than text me that he's off to get some materials and switch his phone off and wouldn't come back. I had to get another plumber to instal concealed cistern and the toilet because Peter said it's not his job even thou he's included it in his quote. I'm absolutely shocked by his attitude towards the client. When I told him I'm expecting him to turn up and get the work done ASAP he told me " take a chill pill mate have a joint and relax , no biggie " his actual words. Another time when I wasn't on site I called my painter and asked if Peter was working but again he hasn't turned up. When I called him to ask where he was he had a nerve to say that he's in the bathroom working. I am a professional builder and I've been working with many tradesmen and I've never meet anyone so unreliable. It's scary to think how he treats people who don't have building knowledge Definitely wouldn't recommend his services P M.

    Answer from tradesperson:

I trust other bits are fine: New heating, combi & 6rads,gas,kitchen and bathroom..EXCEPT CONCEALED WC Pawel mentioned about thread the people. Only forgot why I declined to install WC. He wished to fit in tech unrealistic position to old,non standard size, brass,at 3rd, 6floor block. It was not possible. But he decided, bullet headed to modify instead of move 80mm further the wall.I declined (possible leaks). He said, you can cut one of support Geberit's leg and socket in the fitting tee. Only fix it. I truly cant cut the corners and risk a leaks at 3rd floor just to satisfy The Builder. Of course you can call me unreliable then. My attitude to customer. Im sorry mate but am look forward to my final user not you, The Builder.
