Absolutely appalling experience with Two Lions- be very wary of this company. Over 4 months of stress & upset, terrible quality workmanship, antagonistic and unresponsive customer service and a complete lack of responsibility for the people they employ. ££££s of pounds down though Two Lions FULLY acknowledge that the job is of a rubbish standard we have had absolutely no compensation or apology for the service we have received or what we are left with but rudeness, hostility and the completely outrageous accusation that it is our fault because we didn't keep a closer eye on their new employee (we had no idea he was new and obviously assumed he was vetted and up to standard as they had hired him and let him work unsupervised!). Two Lions have ignored any attempt to engage in an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme (when I asked about this and whether they were a member of a trading standards body they started completely blanking my email) we have been recommended by Citizens Advice that our best option now would be to take them to settle in small court. Sadle we are utterly burnt out by the whole horrible experience and expecting a baby in the next couple of weeks (they are fully aware of this) so have no capacity to keep fighting but I would never wish this experience on anyone so please be wary. Trading standards have logged the case so if anyone has/does sadly have a similar experience it is definitely worth logging one too as it builds evidence on how they operate.Answer from tradesperson:
We are disappointed to hear this feedback. The above feedback has nothing even close to reality. All of our customers are aware of the contractors that are going to work in their house and they are introduced before we start any work. This contractor was working for two weeks in their house and after the job was finished we call and they said that they are happy and paid without any pressure, THE PAYMENT WAS SENT TO US AFTER THE WORK WAS FULLY COMPLETED. However, two weeks after the customer came back from holiday they decided to call the office to complain, bear in mind all of the complaints were about work that is being done and paid for by the customer. We have recordings from our calls with this customer and every single call they were saying that they were happy with the work so after we finish the bathroom the customer paid saying that they are happy with their bathroom. However, we listen to their complaints and we send a technician the first time to fix what they wanted because we took care of our customers but they continue to add more and more in a short way they were looking for a new bathroom done again for free, even though his wife was extremely rude to our office and staff we send a technician on a second visit. Unfortunately, all of the contractors that work in their house are experiencing the same attitude and behaviour. So from time to time customers like this appears to every company.
