He visited and sorted it out and didn't charge extra for work which was needed. Also the cost was reasonable. He came around to quote us and he made very good points based on his experience and expertise. He seemed sceptical that the issue was related to the old felt but he agreed to carry out the job requested on the basis that we would one day fix long term the problems with our whole roof. He suggested some vent tiles and he did the job in a day as planned. I can’t fail to admit that he was right after all but as a plus, he was also the most reasonable quote.
