I'm sorry I have to leave a negative review as I really don't like doing it, however I feel it would be unfair not to do so. Reviews are why we all use My Builder.
Firstly this review is not based on the quality of Paul's work, because the work never got started so I can't say either way as to the standard, but judging by other reviews he sounds good, which is why I booked him.
Paul came to quote and came across really well. He offered a competitive quote and we initially agreed a date that I waited three weeks for.
I text to confirm the date and time 4 days before and was told it would be an afternoon slot as he has another job in the morning.
Come the day and having taken a day off work, I text at 16:45 to ask where he as I'd heard nothing. Paul requested to reschedule saying he had been let down by a builder and his job took longer than expected. He said he would take some money off the quote by way of apology.
To cut a long story short, we then arranged another date. Following long delays in responding to my messages, a text from 3 days before to confirm the date prompted Paul again to ask to reschedule.
Not wanting to be messed around anymore I called another company in and within 48 hours of my phone call they have completed my work to a great standard and have been reliable and professional.
This is nothing personal against Paul, but this review is 100% factual. My house is important to me and I at least expect to be treated as a valued customer.
