Safety is our priority, we always follow gas safety rules and regulations and this includes carrying out a gas tightness test before and after any work is carried out which passed at your property, we do warn our customers that it may be possible to smell residue gas after work has been carried out on a gas installation. This is the first time it has been brought to our attention and that we was not contacted by you to allow us to rectify or assist further and nor did you mention it when we contacted you the following day to provide you with a quote. Regarding our prices, we pride ourselves on providing an honest service with transparent prices with an aim to build up a client base of happy returning customers. We are always happy to answer any questions regarding work and It's unfortunate that you have decided to leave feedback without doing so. Finally; for your own understanding, as explained before we booked you in, we charge an £80 diagnosis fee. This includes any immediate repairs. Your cooker wasn't repairable without parts, when we called the following day after sourcing the required part we provided the second quote for £100 was a supplied and fitted price with a guarentee. We advised that the repair would be labour intensive and it would be more cost cost-effective to purchase a new cooker as yours was in a particularly bad and dirty condition.
