Ian has been a pleasure to work with! He's been very patient and pays a lot of attention to detail. He's a dime a dozen and we would definitely use him again, we have in fact used him for two other jobs since.

Ian responded very quickly to my request on Checkatrade and was in touch straight away. He called within two days and sorted out my front door with no hassle at all. From the moment he arrived, he was friendly, polite, and extremely professional. It was clear he has a lot of experience — he quickly identified the issue, explained everything clearly, and got straight to work. The job was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. He took real care in what he was doing and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. It’s not always easy to find someone reliable and trustworthy, but Ian definitely ticks all the boxes. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and dependable tradesperson.

Smiths builders recently fitted a upvc door to the rear of my property. The quote was competitive, they supplied and fitted the door, turned up for the quote and fitting the door on time, workmanship and finish was excellent. No complaints here, would use again.

I recently had two composite doors installed and couldn’t be happier with the service. From the very start, they measured up accurately, talked me through everything, and double-checked all the parts needed before ordering. Ian was so responsive with a competitive price! Completed a cat flap on patio door with him and his work was great! There was a slight delay in between not on Ian’s fault, but he made sure it was done straight after. Overall very happy

Ian did a truly magnificent job 👍. He was very punctual, got here when he said he would, no need to chase him for an update. He just got on with what needed to be done, no messing around/no fuss. Did everything that was required without me having to remind him. There were other jobs that needed doing too. I will definitely be using Ian again for any other jobs I have in the future. Corrected any issues that were brought up to get the work completed without leaving it half done. He didn't leave without knowing that he'd done a 1st class job, one that I'm very happy about.
