During the extreme downpour at the end of August we experienced a minor leak. Having previously had a quote and advice for a new roof we contacted our insurers. Meanwhile, Jimmy completely dismissed the need to replace the roof, identifying a hole that needed filling… at a much reduced cost! The insurance assessor (without our prompting), gave the exact same diagnosis. This gave us a lot of confidence in engaging Jimmy to do the work. Once he began the work, he unexpected found a more extensive problem to the brickwork. With the threat of more heavy rain in coming days, Jimmy rescheduled Happy to recommend to return the next day with another member of his team skilled in this area of work. We were very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge….and no more leaks!

The survey we had before buying our current house highlighted the need for some serious work to be done on parts of the roof. We hired Jimmy on the basis that his own survey and quote highlighted the same problems. He was able to start the job fairly soon after we moved, and got in about 6 men so that the job was largely done in one day, with just some clearing up to do the following day. He and his team were friendly and helpful. I expect that the job was a good one, but it has not rained since so we can't say for certain.

Our flat roof leaked and Jimmy came to provide the quote in Feb 2022. He put an effort to check the flat roof and found where the leaks was from. We got a quote but didn't have it repaired right away as for some reason the leaks stopped. However, recently it was leaking again so we decided to get Jimmy fixed the roof and no more leaks so far.

Good communicator. Did address my anxiety of heavy rain that was due hours after having applied fresh mortar on roof. Jimmy did volunteer to come back next day to check and touch up mortar weakened / cracked due to over night rain. No idea if I got good value for money as did not have another quote to compare with. Looking at the pics Jimmy took, looks like the job has been done well. I guess time will tell if the job has been done to good standard. I hope so, for the price I paid.

I thought they had done a good job but 2 days later a heavy lump of mortar slid off the roof which could have been dangerous if it had landed on my head.

Jimmy was kind enough to come over to have a look at loose/missing guttering fairly promptly. He quoted on the spot & sent photos as I wasn’t with him. Very genuine & straightforward approach & check other parts of the roof as well. Looking forward to getting the repair done shortly!
