I would highly recommend Salvo, he did an excellent job replacing my side gate and frame. He is very courteous, reasonably priced, reliable and efficient & he provides excellent customer care. I was very impressed with him and his work. He even visited my property to provide a quote without me being present (gate is visible from the road) which was very handy as I was at work. The gate is shared with my neighbour and Salvo didn't have a problem liaising with her on the day. My neighbour hadn't had any prior communication with him but she found Him to be very approachable & his work to a high standard. This was in contrast to other tradesmen who I arranged to do the job but then they did not want to liaise with my neighbour even when I explained it was a shared gate. Salvo contacted me as soon as I shortlisted him. He was very polite, knowledgable and arranged to come and view/quote the job a few days later. He provided me with a quote that evening and completed the job In less than a day. The gate is very solidly and well built and he painted it which other workmen Would not do. We have had some strong winds since and the gate has withstood it. I will certainly be recommending Salvo to family and friends and will use him again in the future.

Quick work, easy to deal with --> highly recommend

Over all Salvo has completed three separate jobs for me. He made such a good job of creating a contemporary horizontal pine fence in the front garden (we’re in a semi), that we asked him to do the same in the back, where he put up a 2m x 17m fence of the same, overlaying it on top of the existing close-board fence and all the difficulties that entailed, it took him three full days, including extending the close-board fence itself by 6 or 7 ft. Delighted with that we then commissioned him to make a bespoke, asymmetric (each gate a different width) gate for the back of the garden measuring over 6m wide (and 2m high) - steel framed with a close-board wooden finish. I doubted it would stay up under its own weight, but have been proved completely wrong, it’s absolutely fantastic. I don’t doubt that you can find a bit cheaper than Salvo. But he’s honest, hard-working, no nonsense and most of all has excellent personal skills. If issues arise, he fixes them, he does what he says, and communicates well. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

I asked Salvatore to install a wooden post for a gate which he did the very next day. As I could not be present when the work was carried out I appreciated that communication flowed easily. The work was carried out to a high standard and reasonably priced. All in all, very satisfied.
