Carpet laying 2 rooms - ground floor flat W9
Brilliant in every respect! The work was accurate, swift and efficient with faultless attention to detail. The result looks stunning.
It was a challenging job involving cutting an L shaped hallway piece out of a large rectangle when there was no space to lay out the carpet for cutting. His problem-solving with this and accuracy despite the challenges showed amazing technical expertise and ingenuity. I hadn't realised what an art form carpet laying is until I watched Sean at work - how high the stakes are to avoid a miscut. But his experienced, confident technique made it look easy.
The work included laying some Coir matting which again involved his problem solving skills - as I had bought too small a piece. After he had finished you couldn't see any sign of this. Also he had guessed that I may not have thought of buying the metal separator and brought a couple of alternatives with him.
He was also very knowledgeable and helpful with his advice on underlay advising me against using an inferior brand.
On top of all this the rates SAS charge are very reasonable.
And on a final note Sean is a great presence to have in the house - full of warm and positive energy - and his communication and reliability were excellent throughout.
So all in all highly recommended! Anyone employing these guys would be in sure and safe hands.
