We are not strangers to problems at Christmas: a cooker oven element and a wonky boiler on Christmas Eve in years gone by. This time a leaking extension roof cos the builders 17 years ago botched it. I was mildly surprised anyone would respond to my job that close to Christmas but Sam was sympathetic and came out promptly and we agreed terms and a date. He and his team came out on time as agreed and quickly sorted out the extent of the problem which was obvious to see and worse than we had first thought. They set about, in effect relaying the roof and worked quickly and tidily. I also agreed with Sam some repairs to the main house roof, pointing and tile replacement which was sensible for them to do whilst dealing with the extension. In all the work took two days and looks very neat. They cleaned up after themselves leaving little sign that any works had taken place. Sam and his team were also very considerate of our particular circumstances of having a special needs son. Having had some recent experience of builders (within the last five years ) I felt the cost of the work done was reasonable and good value. I would recommend Sam and SS Roofing Services and should the need arise use them again.
