Came an hour late. I was impressed he really did try to solve the problem, stayed until the problem was found. But did not fix it. Indeed, the leak became worse. My mistake was to give Rob the Cash up front (on account, he asked). Despite a promise to return to finish the job, we had two excuses about parts (not in;wrong parts), and two excuses about being poorly.
My advice to everyone is to make sure you are invoiced, and pay only when the job is completed, don't pay up front like I did or you may not see him again!
I am deeply disappointed, as at first meeting Rob seems a nice guy,
At the end of the day, the problem is worse, and there is no sign of this being completed by Rob.
Unfortunately the feedback comment is negative, which is a shame.
However I only chose Rob because he seemed 100% reliable and this is false .
My experience is that I now have a worse problem, and no sign of it being put right.
Rob has avoided completion of this job at the last minute at least four times. He asked for money up front and issued a receipt, which I paid only because he seemed reliable.
I have made four appointments with Rob which have all been cancelled at the very last minute which is annoying. My advice to readers: remember ... do not pay upfront! Get invoiced.
