Carl rang shortly after I shortlisted him, and has now just completed the job of replacing our old leaking kitchen tap. He's a lovely guy, cheerful and friendly, and answered all my questions. The job took less than an hour, left the area clean and tidy, and he explained everything he was doing. I paid him the perfectly reasonable quote, then before he left he had a look at our toilet which had two problems, flush mechanism and seat. He sorted the flush mechanism in 3 minutes, and told us how to sort the seat problem! He's definitely now our regular plumber. What a wonderful website. We've been putting off this job for ages for fear of being ripped off by an unscrupulous tradesman, but I was completely reassured by its vetting process. Now I know whatever job crops up in the future, I will have that same reassurance.
