Roof replacement on back-to-back terrace
Fair price and good work in the end but only after huge hassle. Roof replacement seems fine now, but had to have them come back to fix some flashing incorrectly placed first time round which meant part of the roof was still leaking.
They replaced a dormer window and wrecked my carpet in the process by not using a dustsheet. Totally bodged the inside of the window frame, had to call them back and have a plasterer come to finish the job.
Various neighbours reported finding roof tiles and debris in their gardens, roof tiles and tea being thrown from the roof, and their bins taken from their gardens and used for debris. Roof tiles and the old dormer window were left in my garden rather than put in the skip (until they came back to finish the flashing two weeks later).
Answer from tradesperson:
Hi Hannah thanks for your feedback but I disagree with what your saying the leak what you call me back for was on next door flashing it was getting in there nothing wrong with your roof also the roof window frame wasn't in the price I got a plasterer to do it for nothing because we had a go with wood but we are roofers not joiners also I thought we was really fair with you I repared next door roof which was causing you problems for nothing I could of charged you also I fit you a down pipe for nothing as well . Thanks Russell
