Replace build-in integrated kitchen hood, bathroom fan
Answer from tradesperson:
First off I went there didn’t realise old cooker hood was covered all over with at least 4mm of grease. I was not told of the condition. It took almost 45mins to take off. Side Cabinets were installed unevenly and space was less than 600mm so was a very tight squeeze. Took near enough 3hrs to install which is usually done within the hour. I didn’t charge anymore than what I had quoted. Yes I forgot to plug in the plug which I agree to. Old bathroom fan was not screwed into the walls which she wanted changed. After checking for the safety of the circuit I didn’t really want to touch the electric till it was properly rectified. Fan isolator and a single plug socket is installed inside the bathroom right above the sink. I did warn her of the safety of it and client told me she has had it for years no problem. Wether other electrician quoted cheaper is none of my concern. But you failed to state what had actually happened that day, am just glad I don’t have to do anymore work there as it is a health hazard. Everyone other moment there client kept mentioning ‘I just want to install cheap things so I can sell the property.’ I have never had any intention of doing any bad work ever but to leave a bad review after all the work I had to put in and not charge a single penny more is crazy.
