Grass cutting, weeding, patio wash and branch trimming
This was a straightforward job requiring only a few hours however on the day, Nick’s team arrived 2 hours late, forgot to bring floor sheets despite knowing that access to the garden was only via my kitchen/bedroom and it was raining, and left the house untidy. I had specifically stated I had a cleaner coming in after they finished therefore they would need to arrive on time (a time Nick selected himself) therefore I was disappointed by his tardiness. Furthermore, I had arranged for my decking to be power washed. On arrival, I was told that the machine had not been properly secured to the van and was therefore "scattered over the M25". This meant that I had to take a second day off work to accommodate their second visit. The “alternatives” provided were for them to come at 5pm (I finish work at 6) or to come on the weekend of the Bank Holiday (I already had plans out of London). My request for a discount for what was an appalling service was met with an aggressive and surly response, and was initially refused as he "does not give discounts" (meaning that I was supposed to pay full response for a sub-par service). Nick then accused me of being "unappreciative" of the paltry discount eventually agreed and applied it to only one aspect of the service rather than the full price of the service as agreed. The entire experience was stressful and suboptimal, and I found Nick frustrating, rude and obtuse. I will never use his services again and if I could give him zero stars, I would.
