Excellent work - very friendly flexible and inexpensive.

An excellent job; from start to finish everything has been done on time and to cost. I have no hesitation in recommending Nick.

Nick was very helpful and friendly and built us lots of great shelves in our living room. He was a quick worker and I felt very comfortable having him in the house. I would definitely reccomend him.

A brilliant carpenter and builder. Helpful, friendly, assuring, an all round good guy. Turned up on time. Gave a good, easy to comprehend quote. Good competitive costs. Easy to contact and speak with. Work was completed to a high standard and with no fuss. I look forward to asking Nick to complete more work for me.

We hired Nick to lay a solid wood herringbone parquet floor. We knew from his My Builder profile that Nick would be competent at laying an ordinary plank or engineered board floor. We also knew that Nick did not have as much experience laying parquet as we would have liked. However he was available immediately and his quote was significantly lower than the competition. We did experience a few challenges getting the floor laid correctly. However we got there in the end as a bit of a team effort and I would highly recommend Nick for his dedication, ability to take suggestions on board and general "can-do" approach. He is a competent young carpenter and clearly could have laid a simpler floor with ease. It was pleasant to have him around, he was neat and tidy, pleasant, helpful and learnt fast - and the floor looks lovely, thanks.

Nick did a good job for us, fitting a wooden floor on an uneven concrete base in an old property with nooks and crannys everywhere. He was prompt, very friendly, reasonably priced and left the place clean and tidy afterwards. He came in on quote and completed the job in the time he said. He was a pleasure to deal with and I would thoroughly recommend him and his work.

Brilliant job! Had a good positive feeling from initial telephone conversation. After visiting he took into consideration what I wanted and made suggestions of his own. Made the doors prior to installation, after measuring, and took a day and a half to install, sorting a pore opening due to builders. Doors ar fab, and open beautifully, Even taken the time to add tie backs to the walls. Nice lad, great work, will be coming back to do more.

Nick turned up on time, did a very neat job and tidied up afterwards. He also came in under budget. All in all we are extremely pleased and would have no hesitation in using him again. All in all, first class and thoroughly recommended.

What a pleasant experience. Nick responded to my advertisement quickly, came and gave a quote, gave me a maximum price, which was reassuring and a firm start date. Nick turned up on time, understood the brief, looked after our 100+ year old lime walls and did an excellent job. When one of the materials we had selected gave a poor finish, Nick stayed until the result looked first class. It's a delight to engage someone who takes such pride in their work. The added bonus was that the room in which Nick worked was left immaculate when he had finished, and we all know how rare that is! I'm happy to unreservedly recommend Nick Sharp to you.

I hired Nick to lay new wooden floors in my house and he was the best trademan you can get!! He was prompt, reliable and always showed up when he said he would. He kept me informed throughout the duration of the job, which took just over a week. He worked fast and didn't mess around. He was very easy to get hold of and all in all and absolute pleasure to work with. Last but not least, the work was done to my complete satisfaction. He certainly knows what he's doing and took on board all my requests and suggestions very easily - including when I asked him to come back a few days later to adjust something for me. Also he was very proactive in suggesting ways forward - I was unsure how to deal with the existing skirting boards and he suggested the best solutions available to me. It was the first time I renovated a place and having to deal with the project by myself was quite daunting, but Nick made the whole thing a walk in the park. Couldn't recommend enough. I have now asked him to come back later to do some shelving for me. Francesca
