Put the advert out and got a fair few interesting quotes, thought I'd get in touch with Nicks Construction to see if he can help, and "yup no problem". Came out, corrected and reinforced my forming and concrete mixing lorry turned up and they got to work immediatly. One thing I have gathered about Nick, he's a machine, I havent seen anyone wheelbarrow wellover 40 runs across the distance he did and not once show signs of slowing down, I need to eat what he eats! John who is Nicks employee was doing all the concrete prep-work and leveling for drainage etc., and he just hummed along for the whole duration producing great results. So they started at 3:30pm on the pour, and finished at 8, altogether 4cubic metres of C35, done exactly as I requested, no deviation from my plans and also improvised on drainage slant etc, brilliant, what more could I want. Well all I can say is that again Nick has not only quoted me happy, him and his team have done a stellar job and yup you got it, I'm booking him in for doing the next phase of the project!

Nick came and did the job at short notice and at a very reasonable price. He completed the work to a very high standard and left no mess behind. I will be using him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a good plasterer.

This was a big job with many different elements involved (plumbing, construction, electrics, planning, engineers, architects etc). Overall we were very pleased with Nick and his team and are delighted with the end result.

Nick gave me a reasonable price and some more information I need. He had done a very good job in a short time. I would like to recommend him and hire him for another job.

Nick has done a fantastic job of what needed replacing in my bathroom. Very friendly and gave me as many options when needed. Arrived on time and got straight on the job and finished with top notch speed. He has done a fantastic job and I will defo use him again when needed.

I had a few people come out to have a look at the site and give me a quote, I was totally amazed at the quotes ranging from £1600 to £500, in the end I settled for £600 because out of the whole lot of them, Nick was the only one who re-assured that it would be done in a day (grab permitting), and wow was he and his team quick. They shifted well over 10+ tonnes of soil from 9:30am to 5:00pm with only a 10minute lunch break, outstanding! To top it off, also saved me the cost of another grab-lorry, they loaded their own van with the remaining soil, if all builders were like Nick then we wouldnt need myBuilder, but thankgod for myBuilder, I now have my very own local pro who within his team cover everything from building to welding to general everything, perfect. Would I use Nick again? Did you even read the above? hell yeah! I'm a) unemployed, b) dont trust any service provider (car mechanics the worst) and c) I like honest pricing - Nicks the first builder I've come across who was the diamond amongst the zirconias. If you select ANY other builder over Nick on your job bid, you're mad... Nick is realistic, optimistic, motivated, hard working and HONEST, which are all the ticks you require for a top builder. Tidy work, went the extra distance to complete the job. Would definitely recommend.

Nick arrived on time and worked pretty much non-stop until the work was completed. The quality of his work was excellent and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I would not hesitate to use Nick again in the future.

Tho the work was good some small details over looked he left the area clean after his work. The neutral comment is for the fact I agreed a price of £120 in my mail with Nick and then to be told when paying that he wanted the VAT on top, so in effect adding another £20. I have used this site on about 4 other occasions for jobs and price given was always the price paid. Perhaps it was because the job took so long from 9:30am to 4:30pm I think he was expecting to finish at 1pm as the other builder with him said. I did write to him twice regarding the VAT but recieved nil reply. I would suggest with this builder always check the price his giving is including VAT and get everything in writing.

Highly recommended! The job was easy to organise with minimum fuss. The guys that Nick sent were punctual and hard working. The work was completed in time and to a high standard.
