Replacing a Kitchen Mixer Tap
Quick response from Muhammad, he was punctual and polite and replaced the Kitchen mixer tap within the hour for a competitive price. Price was slightly more than quoted due to a new isolation valve required.
Noticed a small leak under the sink a few days later and asked Muhammad to return. There was a small gap between the base of the tap where it had been fitted which was leaking a small amount of water. He said he had travelled from Durham to myself in North Tyneside and seemed to be put out about having to return. He explained that the tap was fitted as per instructions and that it was solid. He suggested I can get some clear silicone to seal the tap base if it’s leaking. I just assumed that the tap would have been sealed to avoid this issue in the first place. On closer inspection, some of the flexi pipe has been kinked when fitted so not sure if this will affect the life span of the tap or cause damage in the future.
Good first impression but disappointed with attitude on return which left a little sour taste, hence the mixed review.
