Mike was the 6th person I contacted about my job and it was finally nice to find someone reliable and interested to do my job. After contacting Mike on this site he responded promptly, come to my house see look at the job and then was quick to quote his price, which was reasonable. After inviting mike to carry out the work he was very prompt in arranging when it will be done and keep in regular contact to tell me when the scaffolding would come, when he would be at the house and so on. Job completed as agreed, very tidy work. I would recommend this builder. A good find thanks to this site!

Mike has undertaken slate roof work for us - due to the roof suffering from nail fatigue and a lack of felt. The work undertaken included removing slates, laying breathable membrane, re-battening, and re-laying slates with new nails, making up the shortfall with reclaimed slates. Gutter repair and painting, along with painting eaves etc. and first floor windows was also completed. Two outbuildings were also part of the contract with Mike - slating an adjoining cycle shed - which has been completed, and re-battening/felting a small privy shed - which will be completed in the future at a mutually convenient time. I would recommend Mike to others who are looking for a reliable roofer, who communicates well, informing on the odd day he was unable to attend (mainly due to inclement weather), and getting work done at a good pace. Mike is happy to resolve any issues raised to ensure that the customer is happy with the end result. I look forward to leaving further good feedback for Mike when we arrange to complete the final little bit of work, and would recommend his services to those thinking about getting roofing work done. Mike repaired a leaking box gutter to the roof of our rental property (Victorian terrace). We found him to be reliable, friendly and courteous with good communications. Work was completed quickly and tidily and so far so good... no more leaks. The price seemed honest and reasonable and we are happy with the service provided. We have asked him to quote for further work to our own house.

MJP did a great job of replacing my front and side facia boards. The job involved removing the edge tiles and replacing them. They left site tidy with no mess and has offered to come back in a few months to pop another coat of paint on the new oak timber.

Mike has completed a great job on refelting a tiled roof for a grade 2 listed building. The price was good, very easy to deal with and completed all work as agreed up front. Any extras were agreed before work started and mike kept me up to date at all times. Would use again. Thanks mike.

Mike was prompt, hard-working and helpful. Given the very cold and windy weather cleaning moss from the house and garage roof was a challenging task, but one performed without complaint and to a very satisfactory standard. The work was completed within the time estimated and the site left clean. Highly Recommended.
