    Rendering and damp proofing
    Had damp proofing done and damp come straight back so had to have him re do again. Plastering is a mess so had it done again and still not happy.

    Well this has come of a surprise Elise. All you had to do is ring me and I would have come over and looked at the problem, like I did the last time, when I came over I even put you up Curtain pelmets and sorted out a leek in you new daughters bedroom and didn't even charge you. I chased you for feedback over 5 or 6 times and to be honest if I thought you would have been unhappy with my service I would not have requested feedback several times. Im very sorry that this has come to this and feel more let down that you couldn't get in touch and get it sorted. The offer is still open and I would not feel any bad feelings between us if you did, after all I want you to be happy with the work. Regards Mark

    Damp area next to door
    I showed Mark the area I was having damp problems. I trusted him as an expert to know what the problem was. Ive had him back at least 3 times as it wasn't fixed, the plaster he put up after applying the damp treatment was very wet so obviously it's not been fixed. This has now spread and damaged my carpet, mould is forming and I have a serious lung condition so it's very dangerous. He's stopped replying, and after 18 months and no fix I have no other choice than to give an honest review. I paid for a job that wasn't done, he quoted to fix the problem but it didn't. After at least 3 attempt to get it done right it's still the same so I've lost faith in his work.

    Helena, first of all can I say how disappointed I am that you resulted in this Negative feedback after I did the works you asked me to and also I gave you several times and dates to come to for you to say you cant do that date/day etc. I appreciate that we where in a pandemic and people have to shield but I did try. I advised you from the beginning that the door needed to be re sealed of which I don't do. I came back and checked my work and showed you the Meter readings. As a gesture of goodwill I re plugged a overflow pipe that wasn't in my job description. I then asked if you had the door sealed and that it would be best to. Then I received e-mail with photos of wet patches on the floor in front of the door way and spreading to the external wall, this again showing that the door frame does need sealing. Like I said to you when you get the door sealed I will gladly come back and check the wall, and if there is any issues I will come back and do FREE of Charge. We take every Good and Bad feedback on board and do reply to resolve any issues that our clients bring to our attention. Like I said Helena if you give me a call we can arrange a suitable time for me to come and survey.

    Damp at ground-level in an old property
    Mark was fantastic. When we got him to provide a quote he was really open and honest about what actually needed doing (had previous quotes for work that wasn't necessary) and promptly provided written communication of cost breakdown etc. He was prompt and on time, completing the work in less time that initially quoted. Mark was also really tidy and cleaned up after himself to a high standard. We would 100% recommend!

    Complete damp proofing system on old brick house
    Working with Mark has been a pleasure from the start. He goes beyond what is required and couldn't be more helpful. Work had to stop due to Covid in his family which was totally understandable but he came back when he could to carry on the work. This was difficult as our son and his girlfriend had to move in anyway and other trades were delayed due to the pandemic. So despite the chaos he has gone above and beyond to help us finish the project. It has been a genuine pleasure to meet Mark and we highly recommend him to anyone needing a damp proof course or plastering.

    Damp work and plastering work needed in dining room
    Avoid! Asked to come back to look at the work completed and he hasn’t! Also paid to put skirting boards on and never completed this work, had difficulty getting this done as the walls are so uneven from his poor plastering! So I am now at a loss paying again for work which was not completed and at an additional cost due to work being completed to a poor standard!

    We take Negative feedback very seriously. I quoted this couple of times as and both times I said we don't put skirting on as this needs to be totally dried and advised you Father where to buy and that it needed to be glued. At no point have I been paid for or quoted for the skirting and if proof on quote I priced I will reimburse this. I agreed to do skirting but was on Covid Isolation on the agreed date. So if you can send me the original quote with the skirting on and paid for I will pay it back to you. In ten years Ive only had 2 negative posts inc this one, and feel with 98% with the amount of jobs I done on My builder is a testament to the high standards we strive for. I await your response and if you feel rather to do more privately you could email with the quote and payments made. Kind Regards

    Damp Inspection Report
    Mark did a good job in a reasonable timeframe. I was happy with his report and he charged a fair price.

    Damp highlighted on survey requires fixing

    Rotting skirting boards
    Professional attitude, friendly and knowledgeable. Came promptly to give estimate and punctual when doing the work. Carried out the work in time frame as promised. Looks to be an excellent job. Highly recommend.
