I have was very happy with my decision to use Cronin Building Maintenance for the redecoration of my one bedroom flat in Hove. The service I received in obtaining a quote was prompt ,helpful and curteous. The work was carried out without any delays , all finished to a very high standard and no mess left behind. The cost was exactly as quoted.I would use this firm again.

We asked Mike to redecorate our kitchen. He quoted a price that we found was acceptable. We found that his work was of a very high standard. He kept us in touch with the work and ensured that it met with our wishes. All rubbish was cleared and the kitchen was left in good order. We are very pleased with the results and would certainly ask him to work for us again. Thank you Mike. JW

We asked Cronin Building Maintenance to repaint the exterior of our house. This included repairing several cracks to the render and we also got them to re-cap our chimney pots. The work was done to a high standard and for a very reasonable price and the work was completed within the timeframe they included in their estimate so all in all we were very happy with the job they did and they were a pleasure to have around. We'd happily recommend Cronin Building Maintenance and would use them again in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM Exceptionally poor workmanship. Other painters can't believe how bad the job is. No preparation, no filling, poor quality and only one coat of emulsion. Continually saying that they are going to fill and make good at the next stage, they never did. Threatened me with legal action for payment the day after they said they had finished despite not having carried out the snagging... which they have only partially carried out using a different top coat so shows up, still no filling, old stains still visible where should have been stain blocked and then 2 coats of emulsion, where repair to wallpaper it is torn. They admitted to using whatever paint came to hand as they were leaving to come to the job. Avoid this company ... they are full of empty promises of professionalism and use aggressive tactics so that people don't complain about them. They called over 8 times in one day when I was busy at work and then turned up on my doorstep at 8 am demanding payment having produced no invoice and when they did the invoice was incorrect. I tried to get them to finish job but they have got more abusive and aggressive, visiting without notification on more than one occasion and just insist on payment. We feel harassed and vulnerable.

Very pleased with internal paint work in the kitchen. The builder was punctual, clean and tidy.

Quick to quote, efficient & very knowledgeable. Had to go out of his way to get the right tiles needed on the day but all done & house watertight once more on schedule! Highly recommended - & have already asked to quote on more work.

I am really pleased with the repointing job that has been done , i also have him doing another job for me already , would Definatley recommend Cronin builders .
