Jakub and his colleague replied to my ad with in an hour of it being posted, they turned up on time and completed the job with great efficiency and to a very satisfactory standard, I would not hesitate to recommend them and in fact have asked them to quote for further work.

Jakub & Peter arrived promptly, were extremely polite and friendly, persisted with sorting out a tricky electrical fault, and then charged a very modest fee. I have no hesitation in recommending MAX-BUD!

We hired Max Bud due to their efficiency at getting back to us, and their competitive pricing. They carried out the works (complete redecoration of a flat) in the time scale originally stated, despite having some extra work to do. They were very helpful at recommending the correct materials to use, and what the cheapest options would be. Like most building works, there were a few unexpected works that had to be carried out, that were only found out after the work began which did increase the price, but this would have been the case with whatever contractors we had used. Overall we are very happy with the works Max Bud have carried out and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to our friends and family.

As we have not previously undertaken a renovation project as large as this before (creating a 2nd bedroom, moving kitchen, structural changes etc) we were naturally very apprehensive going into the project about controlling the budget, controlling the length of the project and also understanding the impact that this job would have on our neighbours in the stairwell. However we were very impressed with MAX-BUD and they succeeded in managing the project very smoothly, the estimated 4-6 week project was completed after 5 weeks and most importantly there was almost no additional costs over and above the original quotation. Also after speaking with our neighbours during and after the work was completed, they seemed to speak positively about the consideration shown which helped alot to reduce the stress of doing such a project. In respect of the quality of the work and finish it was evident the two brothers that run the company have a passion for their trade and this appears to have translated into a very good quality finish across all the trades that were employed. Furthermore my visits during the project gave me alot of confidence that the work was being done to a high standard and no corners were being cut so there would be no issues with building control requirements being met. We are delighted with the renovation and I would have no hesitation at all hiring MAX-BUD again or recommending them for this type of project.

Max-bud did an extraordinary job for us. They completely gutted the bathroom and installed a new bathroom suite that looks stunning, with underfloor heating! They replaced all the windows throughout the flat, including two skylights. They removed the horrible storage heaters and installed a new central heating system, with a great boiler. Installed new LED lighting in a couple of rooms and new electric switchboard. Took away the wood chip on the walls and re-plastered the hallway and box room. Managed to find the identical skirting to the old existing skirting in the flat. Installed a access hatch with pull down steps to the attic where they installed flooring so I now have more storage room than I know what to with! All the work was done with great attention to detail and they were extremely tidy and clean as the flat was full of our stuff while they were doing the work. Jakub was happy to accommodate any changes or additions as the project was underway and would make helpful suggestions along the way. The crew are very hard working and know what they are doing! When choosing which builder to go with Jakub was in my view the best value for money from the quotes that I received. The way they run the business they manage to save costs but still to deliver a high quality finish - no corners are cut and it is all built to last! Just wish I had another flat to do up now, would without a doubt use them again. Very happy customer!

Took lots of care, made good suggestions, responsive to the problems that did arise.

Jacob was very good at picking up a small job of changing bathroom taps. Although we had some difficulty with technology I.e.phones he still fitted in time for us and completed the job in a short time. Many thanks for a good job will use you again. Janice Barr

Jakub completely refurbished our flat transforming it from a wreck into a very desirable property. He had a lot of his own good ideas which he shared with us, but always accepted our wishes. His response to any questions or problems was always very quick. The quality of finish is very high throughout as he clearly takes pride in his work. We look forward to working with Jakub again.

Jakub phoned me the very same day having shortlisted his company for the job, and called out later that very evening to replace my electric shower. Turned up at the time promised over the phone and went to work in a very efficient manner. Great job and the very little mess that he made was cleared up after the shower was replaced. All questions or concerns I had were answered by Jakub. Very friendly and polite. A few more jobs will definitely be going towards this man.
