I wanted to do my flat up, either to make it more comfortable to live in, or to sell. I decided to employ Jakob and Rado, mainly because they provided the most detailed estimate and had some very good ideas about the work I should have done. The job involved installing a new kitchen, bathroom and WC, replacing a window, re- sanding the living room floor and some painting and decorating. The work was all carried out speedily, efficiently and with great skill. As I was new to this, I needed guidance on choosing materials such as paint and tiles. They were very helpful with this. The price they charged was reasonable and I would certainly employ them again. Indeed, I plan to do so in the near future. James

I hired Jakub to do some small plumbing jobs which were to replace a dripping kitchen tap,repair a leak in the upstairs lavatory,move an existing tap from our utility room to the wall outside, try to repair our cistern flush,( he couldn't but it didn't really matter ) and also to replace 3 small electric under unit bulbs in the kitchen. He appeared professional, friendly, came when he said he would and appeared to do a good job. His charges for the work were considerably more than his initial quote on my builder. I paid £410 for the job, this included the cost of the kitchen tap. Despite the cost being higher than expected he appeared to have done what we had requested. However within 2 weeks the upstairs lavatory started sporadically leaking again exactly as before. Since then I have contacted him more than ten times , leaving messages on 'my builder,' emailing him direct and phoning.He replied once to a message, saying he was on Skye and would contact me when back. He didn't. Since then he has ignored emails and 'my builder' messages but has twice answered his phone, the first time he promised to ring 3 days later with a time for a visit, and didn't, the second time he arranged to come at 5 pm the Thurs before last.Did not turn up or call. I am disappointed to have to leave my first negative review on 'my builder' which has provided me with some excellent tradesmen for other jobs but sadly I cannot recommend Jakub.

Great price, good communication, very pleased with the result. We would certainly use Max Bud in the future.

Jakub is lovely and communicates about the job really well so you always know where you are and what's happening. He also goes out of his way to fix any problems that arise. I would definitely recommend Max-Bud.

Overall recommended. Great communication with Jakub, fixed my water leak (which involved cutting a hole in the wall to resolve) quickly with no fuss. Came back several days later when he said he would to patch up the wall. Good job overall and satisfied customer. I didn't think the price was exceptionally cheap, but reasonable I thought for the job done. Would use again.

Jakub installed a new radiator for us in a dining room. He attended very promptly and carried out a re routing of micro bore pipes. Jakub was polite, tidy and offered great advice regarding the heating system. I will definitely hire Jakub again and recommend highly. Greg Stewart.

Work completed with no fuss. He carried out work as his own. He tried to repair the broken tap first. When he realised it was not possible, immediately moved to the next step. Explained everything to me during the process. Extremely reasonably priced as well. I will hire him with no hesitation. Thank you very much for your service!
